In recent years,the research on photochromic functional materials has been becoming increasingly popular owing to their potential applications as sensors,photoresponsive self-assemblies,optical memory storage,live cell imaging,molecular logic gates,and multifunctional switches.Among diverse photochromic compounds,diarylethene derivatives are the most promising candidate photochromic system because of their fast response,excellent thermal stability and outstanding fatigue resistance.Due to the distinct feature,an increasing number of diarylethenes with various functional groups have been extensively developed.In the thesis,twelve novel diarylethenes which contain a benzofuran or benzothiophene structure unit were designed and synthesized.And substituents effects;aromatic stabilization energy of these diarylethenes were systematically studied.The main contents and results are generalized as follow:1.In introduction,the research status and main parameters of diarylethene derivatives have been given,and the recent progress of photochromic materials was reviewed.2.A new class of photochromic diarylethenes with both 3-methylbenzofuran and thiophene moieties were firstly designed and synthesized.Substituents effects of these 5 diarylethenes were systematically studied.At the same time,the other three kinds of different positions of the compounds containing the same substituent photoelectric properties were also studied.3.Two photochromic diarylethenes with different-N position of the type of pyrimidine benzothiophene mixed diaromatic olefinic compound were firstly designed and synthesized.4.Two photochromic diarylethenes with different kinds of impurity atoms of different aromatic heterocyclic pyrimidine class were firstly designed and synthesized.And explores the aromatic stabilization energy of the compounds.
