| Carpets are traditionally bulk export products in China.As a high-grade ground decorative material,carpets are more designable compared with other floor decoration materials.There are many defects in the traditional hand-designed carpet pattern including long production cycle,poor efficiency and high cost,unable to meet the need of market.Therefore,using computer visualization technology instead of humans to design carpet patterns has attracted much attention.In carpet pattern design,the color of the pattern should be without excessive variegation,the pattern should be clear and smooth after enlargement.In order to meet requirements,designers need to spend lots of time and vigor to remove pattern miscellaneous points,adjusting the edge of patterns to smooth other post-processing.Based on the rapid development of computer technology,the continuous improvement of fractal theory and the expansion of its application fields,the perfect combination of fractal theory and computer technology can create a large number of beautiful fractal art patterns.The application of these fractal patterns in carpet design can effectively shorten the design cycle and reduce the workload of post-processing.It breaks the thinking confinement of traditional pattern design and creates a unique style.Through repeated iterations of mathematical formulas,infinitely fine graphics contain highly self-similar characteristic,which makes a new interpretation for visual aesthetics.On the basis of fractal theory and computer visualization technology,this paper improves the computer generation of fractal image to meet the design requirements of carpet patterns,and bring a new design idea for carpet patterns.The main contents of this paper include following aspects:Firstly,this paper used Visual Basic 6.0 program design software to improve the computer generation program of original fractal image.On the basis of fractal theory,research to develop a fractal image with appropriate resolution,the resolution of the fractal image was changed according to the design requirement of carpet pattern.Research to develop a fractal image which can rotate at a certain angle,the improved program can improve image distortion caused by the rotation of the fractal image when designing a pattern in Photoshop.At the same time,the display interface of its VB program had been further improved so that it can use the function of scroll bar to view the complete fractal image in the display interface when the resolution of the generated image was large.Secondly,combined with weaving and digital printing technology,the color hierarchy control of fractal image was studied by using functional sentences,including the innovative coloring method based on IFS theory,escape time algorithm.So that it can properly control the color types and transitional effects in pattern design to meet the needs of carpet pattern for requirements of color level.Thirdly,fractal image that met the requirements as the basic element,on the basis of the composition pattern and the principle of color matching,the carpet pattern was designed by using Photoshop drawing software.In this paper,Modern realistic style,Mediterranean style and Chinese Classical style carpet pattern series were designed,respectively,and overall style of carpet and home-decoration was displayed by simulation.Finally,the carpet pattern designed in this paper was transferred to carpet fabric by digital printing technology,and the final sample manufacturing was completed.This not only realized the digital design of textile art pattern,brought broader application prospects for digital textile,and also brought a new design idea for carpet pattern. |
