Aim To study the low density and high frost resistance slag aerated concrete,which is the first one to solve the problem of waste solid materials dumped in our country,and the second one to solve the problem of application of aerated concrete in the outer wall of Northeast China,especially in the cold area,and to realize the problem of low density and high frost resistance.Methods B05A3.5 grade slag aerated concrete was prepared by using slag instead of river sand and silica fume.Its compressive strength,dry density and freeze-thaw condition were tested.Result Under the condition of 0.53 water-to-material ratio,the strength decreases when the strength is 4.0 MPa and the water-to-material ratio is less than 0.53.The lower the water-to-material ratio is,the better the silica fume content is when the economic and strength is 5%.The strength and frost resistance of slag aerated concrete can be obviously improved by adding silica fume.Conclusion Using slag as raw material of aerated concrete,when water-material ratio is 0.53,the strength of calcium-silica ratio is the best at 0.59.The content of silica fume is 5%.The frost resistance of slag aerated concrete is obviously improved,and the strength of slag aerated concrete is more than 2.8 after 45 freeze-thaw cycles,and the application of A3.5B05 in cold areas is satisfied. |
