The coal seam is firstly exposed at comprehensive driving face,which causes gas emission volune high The comprehensive driving roadway is with a single entry,the ventilation circuit is incomplete,gas disaster happens easily because of the accumulation of gas.It,s without delay to find abnormal gas concentration data,and to send out early warning infornation for reducing and preventing the gas disaster effectively.Gas emission volume at heading face is a combined indicator which reflects the stress change of the coal seam,the change of the gas pressure conditions and the coal quality features.Gas emission volume shows the change of stress forward,the change of gas pressure and gas intensity and the change of the coal seam occurrence.The gas concentration data of twenty mines is obtained by collating the literature.The gas concentration data is assumed as a random variable when the distribution of gas concentration data is non-linear distribution.MATLAB analysis software is used to determine the distribution of gas concentration data by the pretreatment of the gas data.The mine is regarded as the object for studying of which the distribution of gas concentration data is normal distribution.The normality test method is used to identify the position of abnormal gas points.The study results show that the abnormal gas points at comprehensive driving face can be identified by the normality test method,the distribution of gas concentration data is normal distribution.The method is feasible by testing.The significant changes of stress,gas pressure and gas intensity in the front of the comprehensive driving face can be determined by the found of abnormal gas emission points earlier.And the gas disaster warning also can be known earlier.The way has great significance to prevent the mine out of gas disaster.
