Organic optoelectronic materials have advantages of low cost solution processing,rich sources,and making flexible devices.Since acceptor materials are scarce compared with their donor counterparts,and this research focused on the development of new acceptor materials.It includes the following two chapters.?1?8Hydroxyquinoline metal complexes have high carrier mobility and good stability,and are widely used as star molecules in Organic Light-Emitting Diode?OLED?.However,these molecules with weak visible absorption,high LUMO energy levels,and poor solubility are unsuitable for organic solar cells In this work,we introduced naphthalimide and perylenediimide to 8-hydroxyquinoline core,through whichabsorption,energy levels,and solubility of 8-hydroxyquinoline were adjusted to meet the requirements of photovoltaic materials.The intermediates NMI-HQ and PDI-HQ were selected to coordinate with the four metal ions Cu2+,Al3+,Ga3+and Zr4+,respectively,and metal complexes were obtained.They are with well solubility,strong absorption in 450-650 nm,low LUMO energy levels of3.6-3.7 eV,which indicates their potential application in organic solar cells.They are all could be used as acceptors in organic solar cells.Organic solar cells with Zr?PDI-Q?4 as acceptor reached efficiency of 2.7%.?2?Polycyclic imide semiconductors with the high stability,strong light absorption,and high carrier mobility were widely used in the field of organic optoelectronics.Perylenemonoimide?PMI?has similar properties with perylenediimide?PDI?.However,due to the difficulty of synthesis,there are few research on photovoltaic application of PMI.In this work,we designed some perylenemonoimide acceptors.Their absorption,electrochemical properties,and solar cells performance were studied.
