Innovative Design Of Contemporary Huxiang Folk Furniture

Based on the previous researches on contemporary Hunan folk furniture,this paper combines the innovative methods of modern furniture to create innovative designs for furniture with contemporary Hunan folk characternstics.It analyzes the modern furniture designed on the basis of folk furniture in the market,and finds the innovative way of contemporary Hunan folk furniture in light dining space.Before design innovation,we should deal with the relationship between people,products and environment,and integrate the "harmonious design concept" into the innovation of contemporary Hunan folk furniture.The innovation of contemporary Hunan folk furniture should start from the furniture itself,through the multi-element shape,stable structure,rich decoration,new materials and the use of reasonable craft,so that contemporary Hunan folk furniture can be interpreted in a new form.At the same time,in order to further meet people’s aesthetic and spiritual needs,through the art processing techniques,some contemporary Hunan folk furniture will be developed in the direction of furniture furnishings and antiques.Finally,the use of cross-border integration to integrate the region,food,architecture and other cultures of Huxiang into modern Hunan folk furniture,to better promote the inheritance of Huxiang culture.However,these innovative methods are not individual.They need to be used together and complement each other to make contemporary Hunan folk furniture more suitable for modern society.Through the analysis of the innovative ways of contemporary Huxiang folk furniture in the light dining space,combined with the actual plan,from the aspects of function,shape,structure,material and cultural connotation,the folk characteristics of Huxiang are integrated into the design of modern light dining space furniture,and keep Consistent with the overall space style.It is hoped that through design practice,it can provide new ideas for the furniture design of light dining space,and at the same time promote the application and development of contemporary Huxiang folk characteristics in modern public space furniture to a certain extent.
