Research On Modular Design Of Small Dewelling-size Furniture

In recent years,under the pressure of rising house prices,the small dewelling-size increasingly become the mainstream of the community,people's demand for small units of furniture also increased.However,there are not many furniture that is applicable to the small apartment space in the market,and have not some relevant theory to design guidance.Therefore,the development of furniture design based on small size furniture has important practical significance and guiding value.This paper first analyzed the small dwelling-size residential buildings and the small dwelling-size furniture,and summarizes the characteristics of small-sized residential buildings and the shortage of existing small-sized furniture.Through the investigation and analysis of the existing problems of small size furniture,we get the design requirements of small fumiture.50 the idea of modular design was adopted into the design of small dewelling-sized furniture,Under the guidance of the modular design principle of small-sized furniture,the function,structure,size and material of small-sized furniture are analyzed and analyzed,and the design practice is finally carried out on the basis of theoretical research.The main conclusions and achievements are as follows:(1)The characteristics of small dwelling-size are small size ambiguity transition and dynamic,and the residential population of small dwelling-size is mostly young people therefore,The design of dewelling-sized furniture should combine the characteristics of small dwelling-size and the target consumer groups.(2)Small furniture modular furniture can be designed from four aspects:function,structure,size and material.The furniture size is the key of modular design.It needs to consider both furniture modulus and ergonomic parameters.The modulus is generally based on 150mm Modular series.(3)According to the modular design of the four basic processes,we build a small-sized furniture modular design system,and carried out the modular design practice of the sitting class furniture,the bed furniture,the table furniture and the cabinet furniture,which verifies the rationality and maneuverability of the modular design system of small furniture.
