Methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE)is a colorless,transparent liquid,which belongs to organic ether and has a high octane number.General made from methanol and isobutylene.MTBE is an excellent gasoline additive and an important chemical raw material for the production of methyl methacrylate,isobutylene and butyl rubber.The application of MTBE started in 1980 s,and its production process is becoming more and more perfect.The design integrates the concept of “green chemical engineering” with the concept of “environmental protection,energy conservation and cost reduction”.The desigin is optimized which based on the MTBE production technology with an annual output of 80000 tons in a domestic factory,and the mixed phase distillation technology to produce MTBE has been selected,which has realized the separation of the product,meanwhile the mixed phase reaction occurs.This design determines the production process for the annual output of 80000 tons of Methyl tert-butyl ether project,and simulate the entire process with Aspen Plus software.Using the Sensitivity Analysis module in Aspen plus software to optimize the main operating parameters of the actual production equipment,determine the better operating parameters,and use Aspen Energy Analyzer software to optimize the heat exchanger network,reduced production energy consumption,saved equipment operating costs.According to Aspen Plus simulation,the material balance and energy balance of the whole process has been completed,and the detailed calculation and selected of main equipments such as etherification reactor has been completed.Using the professional chemical software such as SW6-98 to check the strength of the main equipment.The pump in the process has been selected and designed by intelligent pump selection software.By using Tianzheng Building and AutoCAD software,the general layout plan of the plant area,the flow chart with control points,the equipment assembly drawing has been completed.In combinationwith the standard specifications,taking into consideration the safety,the infrastructure of the plant area was requested and relevant professional drawings were drawn.The optimized production technology operation is more flexible,the raw material conversion rate is high,and the product quality score is increased from98.20% to 99.50%,which can be faced better on the market changes and improve the ability to withstand risks.This design can provide reference and help for the development of domestic methyl tert-butyl ether production industry. |
