Since the development of modern artificial air conditioning technology,the value of natural ventilation has been neglected;but the indoor air quality and residential health problems caused by closed air conditioning cycle and the global energy crisis and sustainable development demand,make natural ventilation regain scientists With the high attention of the whole society.The gymnasium is a special type of public building.It has unique characteristics from planning design,architectural design,to artificial environment design.Only by combining the basic principles of natural ventilation with the architectural characteristics of the gymnasium can it be adapted to it.An effective eco-energy or low-energy stadium building application.This paper focuses on the natural ventilation aerodynamics mechanism of the stadium and its application potential in different climate regions in China.The results have theoretical and practical value for the development of natural ventilation technology in China's stadiums and the construction of green sustainable public stadiums.The use of natural ventilation technology in the gym does not mean replacing the artificial air conditioner completely.Instead,it reduces or disables the air conditioning system under appropriate seasonal conditions and instead relies on natural ventilation.Natural ventilation not only saves energy,but also improves space thermal comfort.This paper enumerates the samples of 25 typical gymnasiums in different climate types and their longest spans in each season,and fully verifies the longest span and wind pressure driven natural ventilation performance through computational fluid dynamics and field measurements.It sums up the best orientation of 25 typical urban buildings in different meteorological types in the country between 160°-217.5°,southeast and southwest.It proposes the best wind pressure ventilation flow span of25 typical urban gymnasiums in different meteorological types across the country.The interval is approximately 55m-100 m.Finally,this paper proposes the framework and model establishmentmethod of the natural ventilation potential analysis and evaluation system,and applies the analysis according to the typical meteorological data of 25 cities in seven different meteorological regions in China,and obtains the season with the greatest natural ventilation potential in 25 cities.Summer and autumn.Due to the influence of ocean winds,Haikou and Hong Kong have the greatest potential for natural ventilation in spring and winter.The wind pressure natural ventilation potential values of Jinan,Beijing,Chongqing,Guangzhou,Nanning,Hong Kong and Guizhou are large,while the wind pressure natural ventilation potential values of Changchun,Changsha,Nanjing and Lhasa are small.
