Osmanhtus fragrans Lour as anomamental flowerhashigh dietary and medicinal values which widely used in food industry and chemicalindustry.Osmanthus essential oil is a kind of vegetable oil which can be extracted from osmanthus flowers and leaves.It has high health and medicinal values,and has functions as enhancing sleep,improving immunity,resisting tumor,relieving cough and eliminating phlegm.At the same time,as a natural spice,it is an important flavoring agent in candy,beverages,cosmetics and etc.However,the essential oil of Osmanthus fragrans has the disadvantages of easy oxidation,volatilization and poor stability.In order to obtain high yield,high quality osmanthus essential oil with high stability and durability,this paper has done the following researches:1.In this paper,ethanol,petroleum ether,dichloromethane and n-hexane,these four kinds of solvent were used as assistants for ultrasonic technology applying on jiangsu osmanthus essential oil extraction.GC-MS was used for sweetosmanthusmain chemical composition analysis and identification.Results showed that the main aroma components in osmanthus oil are ionone,alcohols,aromatic camphors alcohols oxide,6 hydroxy yew,etc.,the composition with highest contents was ionone,alcohols.With petroleum ether as extraction agent,the result achieveed the highest rate(3.80%),and contained high content of ionone,fragrance material such as alcohol(33.33%);Dichloromethane extraction got a extraction rate as 3.12%.With this agent,ionone with alcohols had a content as only 4.93%;And with ethanol(2.73%)as the extraction agent,the obtained oil had a relatively low content of ionone as 0.66%,the content of esters was 7.36%;when using N-hexane(2.46%)as extraction agent,ionone content and alcohol content were 0.21%and 0.59%respectively.Osmanthus oil iswildly applied in food industry for its value.Study on the extraction yield and the content of aroma components of osmanthus extracted oil can provide theoretical basis for comprehensive exploitation and utilization.2.A facile process for the ultrasound-assisted extraction of essential Osmanthus fragrans oilcomposition was reported in this paper.The process was optimized by orthogonal experimental designs and single-factor experiments.Fourpivotal factors were chosen in extraction experiment design,including the material and solution ratio,the ultrasoundfrequency,extraction time and temperature.These four factors were respectively determinedto be 1:9,80K Hz,45 min and 60 ℃ in the relevant designs and experiments for obtaining best extraction results.Under the final optimized condition,the essential oil was obtained with a yield of 3.580%.GC-MS analysis further indicated that the major efficacious components of Osmanthus fragrans essential oil werelinalools,lonones,alcohols,fatty acids and esters.3.By using extracted osmanthus oil as core material,using gum Arabic and beta cyclodextrin as wall materials,osmanthus oil microcapsule solid powder was produced after emulsion,homogeneous and spray drying.Studies have shown that optimal process condition for producing osmanthus oil microcapsulesolid powder was as following:gum Arabic and beta cyclodextrin as wall material should have a ratio of 1:1(m:m),the core material and wall material ratio should be 1:8(m:m),material liquid concentration is 20%and emulsifier dosage is 0.4%,homogeneous pressure should be determined as 25 MPa,inlet air temperature is 190 ℃,outlet temperature is 70 ℃.Under this condition,obtained solid osmanthus fragrance microcapsule hasnearly spherical shape with a particle size of 2-4 microns,the solubility is 96.10%.
