In recent years,as the rapid development of China's industrial and agricultural,a large number of pollutants containing N,P into the water were discharged into the water.Accumulation of ammonia nitrogen in the water environment will seriously deteriorate water.Ammonia is one of the main factors for eutrophication.Therefore,effective ammonia removal is present hotspots.Compared to conventional biological nitrification-denitrification process,new biological nitrogen removal reduces energy consumption through controlling nitrification process to nitritation and eliminating the further oxidation process of nitrite to nitrate in traditional biological nitrogen removal and achieves the accumulation of nitrite successfully.How to control the nitrification process to achieve nitritation stage of the accumulation of nitrite is the key of realizing the combination of shortcut nitrification.Ammonium-oxidizing bacteria were cultivated by controlling the substrate concentration and reactor operating conditions.The effects of nitrifying granular sludge on ammonia nitrogen and accumulation of nitrite were studied under different conditions,and different substances impact on the ammonia oxidation process was also studied.In addition,the new process(ANAMMOX process combined with short-cut nitrification)was used to deal with piggery wastewater.This dissertation has developed the research of granulation of degradation NH4+-N aerobic sludge and its characteristics,taking the sequencing batch reactor(SBR)as the platform.It has gained research results as follows:(1)Short cut nitrification reactor was successfully started up with aerobic activated sludge as the seeding sludge.The initial influent concentration of ammonia was 200 mg/L with temperature,DO and pH being controlled in 30 ?,0.8 mg/L and in the range of 7.5 to 8.0.The average ammonia removal efficiency(ARE)was above 99%,and the nitrite accumulation rate(NAR)was more than 95%after 15 days.the short-cut nitrification process is efficient and perfectly stable.In order to make the sludge having the ability of removing COD,Degradation rate of COD was about 60%in 10h with the initial influent concentration of COD at 200 mg/L.(2)The effects of different conditions on the nitrosation system were studied by using the nitrified granular sludge.Throughing control other variables unchanged and change a single variable,effluent was taken and analyzed for analysis data 8 h after.The results showed that the higher the dissolved oxygen,the faster the degradation rate of ammonia and the lower the nitrification rate.The best range concentration of DO was 0.5-1.0 mg/L.The nitrosation process was not conducive with higher or lower temperature.When the C/N ratio is less than 1,the addition of organic matter(glucose)promoted the accumulation of nitrite,and when the organic matter was excessive,the heterotrophic bacteria competed for dissolved oxygen,resulting in poor nitrosation.The effects of different heavy metal ions on nitrosation were different.With the increase of Mn2+concentration,ARE and NAR increased gradually.when the concentration of Fe2+ was5 mg/L,the nitrification effect was better than the blank control and other groups.With the increase of Fe2+ concentration,ARE and NAR were significantly inhibited.The effect of Cu2+ on the nitrification was different from the effect of Mn2+ and Fe2+,and the inhibition of copper ions was inhibited when the concentration of Cu2+ was 5 mg/L.With the increase of concentration,the inhibitory effect was more and more obvious.The activity of nitrosation bacteria was completely inhibited when the concentration of Cu2+ was 50 mg/L.(3)The effect of short-cut nitrification was studied by adding iron powder and activated carbon.The results showed that ARE and NAR were inhibited in the initial stage.However,when the ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)were adapted to the reaction system,the effect of iron powder on nitrification was not obvious,and the addition of activated carbon contributes to the granulation of nitrosation sludge and reduces the loss of AOB.(4)Using the nitrosated sludge to treat the piggery wastewater,the nitrifying AOB adapting to the piggery wastewater were successfully cultivated by controlling the nitrite influencing factors,and the accumulation of nitrite was well realized.By adding the original piggery wastewater combined with nitrosated effluent(NH4+:NO2-close to 1:1.32 after mixing),then denitrification was studied using short-cut nitrification-anaerobic ammonium oxidation process.
