| At present,vinyl versatate(VeoVa10,VV10 for short)is widely used in the domestic market.Its structure has three highly complex side chains,which make it have great steric hindrance and the shielding function protects itself and the surrounding groups,so its polymer has excellent properties,such as water resistance and alkali resistance.VV10 and vinyl acetate(VA)are the same unsaturated monomers of vinyl esters.The polarities are basically the same and the cohesive force is similar.Therefore,a uniform VV10/VA polymer polymer can be formed in the copolymerization reaction with the excellent features of VV10 and VA.Based on the polymerization of VV10 and VA,this paper uses different polymerization processes and modified with different monomers to obtain two different polymers.(1)Adhesives for interior wall coatings,with VV10 as the modifying monomer,hydroxypropyl acrylate(HPA)as the crosslinking agent,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the dispersion medium and stabilizer,benzoyl peroxide(BPO)is an initiator,and VV10/VA/HPA(VVH)copolymer is prepared by emulsion polymerization to improve the water and alkali resistance of traditional white latex.The effects of monomer dosage and ratio,stabilizer polyvinyl alcohol concentration,initiator concentration and polymerization temperature on the polymerization process and product characteristics of VVH polymer were investigated by single factor experiments.The study found that when the total content of VV10 is 40~50(mass fraction,based on the total mass of the monomer,the same below)and HPA is2~3,BPO is 0.50,PVA is 5,and the reaction temperature is controlled at about80°C.Under the conditions of an hour reaction time,a VVH copolymer emulsion having excellent properties was obtained.The molecular structure of the VVH polymer was characterized by FT-IR,~1HNMR,AFM and SEM,indicating that it is consistent with the structure of the target product.The particle size and transmission electron microscopy of the VVH polymer showed that it was uniformly dispersed in the aqueous solution as spherical or elliptical particles.The stability of VVH polymer emulsion was tested by Turbiscan Lab stability analyzer,and its dynamic instability index(TSI)was 0.40,which showed high stability.(2)Hair styling agent.The VV10/VA/NVP(NVV)copolymer was prepared by solution polymerization with VV10,VA as the modifying monomer and azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN)as the initiator to improve the water vapor resistance of PVP resin for traditional hair gel.The effects of monomer dosage,ratio and initiator concentration on the polymerization process and product characteristics of NVV copolymer were investigated by single factor experiments.The study found that when the polymerization temperature is 80°C,n(NVP):n(VA):n(VV10)=2:1:1,the amount of initiator AIBN 1~2(accounting for the total monomer mass ratio),control reaction time 4 h,a good performance VVH copolymer emulsion can be obtained.The polymer is used as a hair styling agent,has good affinity with hair,is naturally durable and is not easily wetted by moisture,and the coating formed on the hair is even and smooth.It is suitable for hair styling products.In addition,the molecular structure of the VVH copolymer was characterized by FT-IR,~1HNMR,DTA-TGA,SEM,GPC,etc.,indicating that it is consistent with the structure of the target product;the results of DTA-TGA curve analysis indicate that the NVV polymer has good heat resistance;SEM analysis results It is indicated that the NVV copolymer is a uniform film on the surface of the hair,and has a protective structure on the hair scales of the hair,which can reduce the damage of the comb to the scales;the rheological property analysis of the NVV copolymer solution shows that the NVV copolymer solution is The pseudoplastic fluid had a flow index(n)of 0.77;the crimp retention experiment showed that the relative retention of 90%of the NVV copolymer had a crimp retention of more than 70%within 30 h. |
