The large-scale construction and operation of roads have greatly promoted the economic and social development and motorization process, but also brought some contradictions, among which the contradiction between the increasing demand for pedestrians to cross the street safely and in time and the behavior of motor vehicle users to stop, not decelerate and not avoid is particularly significant, especially in the sections without signal control, with large demand for crossing the street and with more traffic. However, only a few scholars have noticed this point, and the relevant theories are relatively lacking, and the actual traffic management measures lack theoretical support, and the results are not good. Therefore,it is of great academic value and application prospects to carry out the research on the identification of influencing factors and severity evaluation of pedestrian-vehicle conflict.Firstly, this paper systematically combs the literature on the severity of pedestrianvehicle conflict with the method of literature research, grasps the existing research progress, summarizes, summarizes and determines the indicators to measure the conflict level and the model to influence the conflict level factors.Based on this, seven qualified sections are selected for site selection in Chongqing and field investigation is carried out. Then, members are organized to extract data from video materials and preprocess them. The main variables in video are determined by combining literature citation, experience summary and manual observation, and the variables are coded and explained. Then, the pedestrian behavior and related variables, vehicle characteristics and related variables, road characteristics and related variables are described by statistics, including pedestrian, vehicle and road variables under three major categories. When analyzing pedestrian characteristics, the behavior differences are analyzed from different age and gender perspectives;when analyzing vehicle characteristics, the speed and avoidance behavior are analyzed according to different vehicle types.Sex: When analyzing road characteristics, the behavior of people and vehicles under different lane numbers is analyzed. Then, according to the evaluation index-PSMT value, the conflicts between people and vehicles are classified, and the distribution of conflicts at each intersection is obtained. Then, according to the results of classification,a quantitative model of vehiclepedestrian conflict based on Ordered Probit is established, and the OP regression analysis of 3519 samples is carried out by using stata14.0 software.Through reading and analyzing the regression results, the significant factors affecting the severity level of pedestrianvehicle conflict in Unsignalized road sections are determined, and the degree and causes of the significant factors are analyzed. The results of this study show that 9 variables, including gender, the elderly, whether to pay attention to vehicle clearance, use of electronic equipment, speed change across the street, waiting time, vehicle speed, traffic flow and the nature of road land, have significant effects on the severity of human-vehicle conflict.
