In the treatment scheme of noise and vibration pollution existing in life and production,suppressing and eliminating pollution sources is an important and effective way to solve them,so the reasonable selection and proper application of damping materials is very important.Therefore,because of demand,research on different types of damping materials has become a mainstream trend in recent years.Damping materials have been widely concerned and applied in many fields due to their excellent vibration and noise reduction,easy machining,safety and energy saving,good flexibility,low cost and excellent mechanical properties.Most of the products in the market are polymer resin materials,and PVC damping material is the main product of automotive chassis coating applications,because of its high cost performance and excellent performance.However,it also has poor adhesion,poor damping performance,poor environmental protection,difficult construction and poor mechanical properties,so it needs to be modified and enhanced.The first chapter of this paper describes the introduction of damping materials,from its definition,selection,evaluation criteria,damping mechanism and characterization,and then present the research progress of damping materials at home and abroad in recent years.Then,introduced the type of damping materials,there are oily damping materials,water-based damping materials and composite damping materials,and outlined several damping material modification studies such as blending,copolymerization and interpenetrating network polymers(IPN).The second chapter of this paper is to synthesize mesoporous silica with different size and high specific area by sol-gel method,and then prepare PVC damping material with excellent comprehensive performance.The viscosity of the PVC damping material with different sizes of silica fillers meets the storage stability requirements of the original rubber properties.As the filler size increases,the damping PVC plastisol increases.When the content of MSN-B1 and DMSNs is 0.8%,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the PVC damping material film reach the maximum.The damping properties vary with size.When adding mesoporous silica larger than the size of fumed silica,the Tg appear a decreasing,and tan8>0.3 temperature show a increasing,but the tan?ma.changes are different,such as MSN-B1/PVC damping material does not change,while DMSNs/PVC damping material increased.The third chapter of this paper is to prepare different kinds of PVC damping materials by synthesizing different polyester thermoplastic polyurethanes and using them as modified materials.When A=1.6,m(TPU)>6%,the adhesion of TPU/PVC damping material is optimal;m(TPU)=6%and A>1.6,the adhesion of TPU/PVC damping material also reaches the optimal level.When the content of TPU is the same,with the increase of A value,the damping composite material is smooth and flat to the section of gully and partial round pit,and the blending of TPU does not change the thermal degradation mechanism of PVC damping material,and to some extent,ijmprove its thermal stability.When m(A2-TPU)=6%,the tensile strength reached the maximum and the elongation at break also reached the preferred values.As the value of A increases,the Tg,tan?max and tan?>0.3 temperature domains of the TPU/PVC damping material all show an increasing trend.When A=2.4 and m=4%,the Tg,tan?max and tan?>0.3 temperature values of the TPU/PVC damping material were all optimal,which was 18.93 ?,0.69 and 54.5 9 ?,respectively.The fourth chapter is the synthesis of self-plasticized PVC by the cyanuric chloride chemical method,which can be used as a solution to solve the problem of plasticizer migration from PVC materials,and then it can be used to prepare modified PVC damping materials with damping raw materials.Self-plasticized PVC synthesis was confirmed by infrared and nuclear magnetic detection means,and its plasticizing effect was confirmed by its Tg change.It can be seen from the DSC chart that the Tg of the SPVC is smaller than that of the unmodified one,which indicates that the cashew nut compound grafted PVC has an internal plasticizing effect.It can be seen from the TG and DTG diagram that the thermal stability of the SPVC is somewhat worse than that of the PVC,but does not affect the overall thermal stability of the modified PVC damping material.From the results of dynamic mechanical properties test,self-plasticized PVC can promote the damping performance of the PVC damping material.
