Cutting teeth are the key parts of driving equipment such as coal cutter or roadheader.Because the main object of action of coal cutter and roadheader is coal and rock,the working environment of these driving equipment is relatively bad.This leads to a large consumption of Cutting teeth.Remanufacturing the Cutting teeth can effectively improve its performance and fatigue life.It is of great significance to improve the production efficiency of these roadheading equipment.This paper describes the linear fatigue cumulative damage model and the non-linear fatigue cumulative damage model in the fatigue cumulative damage model,introduces three commonly used fatigue damage models,namely stress-life(S-N)damage model,strain-life damage model and multi-axis fatigue damage model,and summarizes the basic process of fatigue life analysis based on finite element method.Based on the basic theory of finite element method,the cutting teeth before remanufacturing is studied.Solidworks is used to model the cutting teeth,and ANSYS Workbench is imported to carry out finite element simulation analysis.Then the stress-strain and total deformation distributions of the cutting teeth are obtained.The fatigue failure analysis of the cutting teeth with nCode Design Life can calculate the fatigue life of each node of the cutting teeth and find out the dangerous part of the cutting teeth which is easy to break.Based on the actual working conditions of the cutting teeth,the failure forms and parts of the cutting teeth are analyzed.Laser cladding is the best way to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the cutting teeth.The single cladding and multi-cladding cutting teeth were studied respectively.SolidWorks was used to model the single cladding and multi-cladding cutting teeth respectively.Then the cutting teeth were imported into ANSYS Workbench for finite element analysis,and the stress-strain and total deformation nephograms were obtained.The fatigue of single cladding and multi-cladding cutting teeth was calculated by nCodeDesignlife respectively.Fatigue life.By comparing the fatigue life of the cutting teeth before and after remanufacturing,it can be concluded that the performance of the cutting teeth treated by laser cladding is obviously improved,while the performance of the cutting teeth treated by multi-channel cladding is better than that of single-channel cladding.The fatigue life of the cutting teeth before and after remanufacturing is predicted by using the BP neural network,with the total deformation,equivalent stress and equivalent elastic strain of the cutting teeth as input and the fatigue life of the pick as output.The simulation results of BP neural network prediction model show that the error of fatigue life prediction is small,which can fully reflect the relationship between input and output.BP neural network can be used to predict the fatigue life of cutting teeth.
