In recent years,the runoff pollution and waterlogging problems caused by the runoff of rainwater have become more serious and prominent,affecting the sustainable development of cities and the daily life of urban residents.With the national attention to rainwater and the rise of "sponge city",urban rainwater management has been well developed.The construction of multi-objective urban rainwater system,including total control of rainwater runoff,peak flow control and pollution control of runoff,has become the trend of urban rainwater management.Regulation and storage facilities are effect for runoff control,which is one of the effective measures of urban rainwater management.The research on regulation and storage technology in foreign countries started earlier,and the research and application of related facilities are relatively mature;the domestic regulation and storage technology started later,and the research and application of the facilities for peak rainwater flow and pollution control,especially for peak flow-pollution combined control,are insufficient.Firstly,this paper summarizes and analyses the control objectives and standards of peak runoff flow and pollution in each state of the United States.Referring to the goals and standards of the United States and considering the domestic situation,the control objectives and standards of peak runoff flow and pollution in regulation and storage facilities are defined.Then,the construction and parameters of different types of the facilities based on the two objectives of peak runoff flow regulation and runoff pollution control are set up.Taking the extended detention facilities as an example,the peak runoff and pollution control effects of different layout modes for the facility in the area are explored by using the model,and the optimization method of the regional facility layout is found.Finally,the design procedure of the regional regulation and storage technology based on the peak runoff and different pollution control objectives is explored.Through the above research,the following main conclusions are drawn:(1)According to the two control objectives of peak flow and pollution,the design types of regulation and storage facilities can be divided into three types: peak flow regulation facilities,runoff pollution control facilities and peak flow-pollution combined control facilities.According to the vertical position,they can also be divided into open facilities on the ground and closed facilities under the ground.The structure and parameters of different facilities are designed on different basis,and each component needs to be designed in a certain order.(2)The effect of extended detention facilities on the peak runoff and pollution of regional rainwater runoff is good and it has a certain effect of delaying peak flow occurrence time;the effect of regional peak runoff flow and pollutant(SS)control of facilities is positively correlated with the degree of dispersion of facilities in the region;the effect of connecting multiple facilities in series on peak runoff and pollution control of regional runoff is better than that of parallel or parallel connection;the reduction of runoff peak value and pollution by installations in series is positively related to the proportion of catchment surface area of upstream installations.(3)The design procedure of regional regulation and storage technology based on peak runoff is as follows: collection and arrangement of regional data;→ identification of flood sensitive areas and assessment of waterlogging risk;→ division of regional catchment units;→ simulation and calculation of the epidemic process for regional rainwater runoff;→ determination of the control target for regional peak runoff;→ the layout,selection and design of technical facilities for peak runoff regulation;→ comprehensive evaluation and determination of the best scheme.The design procedure of regional regulation and storage technology based on runoff pollution is as follows: collection and combing of regional data;→ identification of regional water body characteristics;→ determination of regional pollution control objectives;→ division of control units and allocation of total pollutant limits;→ the layout,selection and design of facilities for runoff pollution regulation and storage technical;→comprehensive evaluation and determination of the best scheme.
