| Face gear transmission is a new type of gear transmission developed in recent years.When compared with traditional gear transmission,face gear drive has following advantages:large carrying capacity,high contact ratio and transmission ratio.When the gear transmission is applied in helicopter reducer system,it needs to take grinding processing to the gear.At present,The main face gear grinding methods are worm gear grinding method and dish wheel gear grinding method.But these two grinding machining method have defects.Structure of worm gear grinding method is complex and tooth surface modification is difficult.It needs different grinding tools for different parameters of face gear.After the dish wheel machining the face gear,grinding wheel needs to be trimmed,but it is difficult.The face gear grinding is the focus of researches at present,which has a strong practical value and theoretical value.This paper aiming at the orthogonal face gear tooth meshing principle,the orthogonal face gear machining coordinates and cutter tooth surface equation are established,and the orthogonal face gear tooth surface and tooth root transition curved surface equation are deduced.Complete orthogonal face gear tooth surface model is got.The physical model of the orthogonal face gear is also established by Pro/E software.Plane grinding wheel gear grinding method is put forward based on above content.This method is different from traditional grinding method,eliminating the time-consuming and laborious problems in manufacturing of worm grinding due to the complex structure,grinding wheel needs to be trimmed and dressing process is complex and time-consuming.It can simpler,faster and more efficient to realize gear grinding.In view of the above grinding method,this paper expounds the principle of plane wheel grinding.Generating movement,cutting movement and feed movement of grinding wheel are analyzed.Face gear plane wheel grinding model is established,according to the relationship between face gear and plane grinding wheel,the gear tooth surface equations are deduced.According to the plane wheel grinding principle of face gear,three different grinding machine tools are studied,and the comparative analysis is carried out.Eventually,based on the VERICUT software,gear surface grinding wheel simulation process is completed.According to the simulation results,it can be seen that the gear pitch and undercut phenomenon,which can verify the correctness of face gear generation principle and model.The influence of shaft angle error,transmission error and eccentricity to the face gear are analyzed,which can effectively improve the performance of face gear grinding machine.This paper not only provides a surface gear wheel grinding method,but also provides a basis for improving the performance of gear grinding machine.It has important significance for realizing the finish machining of face gear. |
