In the context of Industry 4.0,intelligent manufacturing will be an inevitable trend in the development of manufacturing industry and an inevitable direction for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.The distinctive features of intelligent manufacturing are informationization,networking,automation,integration,and digitization.It is the deep penetration of information technology and Internet technology in the industrial field.In the environment of Industry 4.0,the jewelry manufacturing industry has also been greatly impacted,especially as the industry's nine major technology pillars 3D printing technology is growing,and it is gradually being widely used in the jewelry manufacturing industry,directly impacting traditional jewelry.The hand-made silver version of the industry and the method of starting the hand-carved wax,and then the extensive use of 3d modeling auxiliary design with 3d printer for the first edition.Compared with the traditional mode of printing,the computer version has more advantages.It greatly reduces the number of trimming times and time costs of the wax pattern or the silver version in the traditional printing method.Instead,it can be adjusted in the 3d software to avoid the cumbersome process of manual modification,and cooperate with powerful rendering software.It can make the work predictable.On the other hand,for some complex jewelry shapes,such as animal and art design,traditional hand-carved wax and metalworking are time-consuming and labor-intensive,and it is necessary for the masters who have many years of work experience to complete it.It restricts artists or art lovers and college students from directly participating in this process,which leads to deviations between design and final products.Using modeling software combined with 3D printing technology can make these complex shapes more precise and convenient.After the mold is turned into a metal plate,it is only necessary to perform polishing and inlaying to complete the production of the product.This article mainly introduces Zbrush,a software commonly used in the CG industry,into jewelry design.It combines Zbrush with the jewellery computer and uses Zbrush's own characteristics to provide jewelry designers with a broader design idea and assist designers.Complete more complex jewellery styling and quickly present design effects in 3D space.In this process,this article mainly explores some new and skillful operations,and combines the current mainstream PBR material production process in the CG industry to provide technical support for some independent jewelry designers to render products for texture,old and new materials..The author will also introduce his own work experience and some new cognitions in the CG industry into jewelry design to explore the artistic performance of the two in three-dimensional space.
