In this paper, the waste cotton stalk produced by agricultural production was used as raw material, and the adsorption effect of methylene blue was used as an index. The optimal preparation conditions of activated carbon under different pyrolysis temperature, pyrolysis time and dosage ratio were studied by orthogonal experiment.Under the optimal preparation conditions, the iodine adsorption value was measured to verify whether the adsorption of the obtained activated carbon satisfies the national standard;scanning electron microscopy analysis, specific surface area measurement,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron Modern experimental detection and analysis methods such as energy spectrum analysis are used to characterize and analyze the physical microstructure of the cotton stalk-based activated carbon, the size of the specific surface area, the pore volume and pore size, the number and type of chemical functional groups on the surface. The effect of preparation process on the micro-surface physical and chemical properties of cotton stalk-based activated carbon was used to prove the scientific condition of the optimal preparation conditions of activated carbon. The static experimental method was used to study the adsorption of four kinds of common printing and dyeing wastewater pollutants by activated carbon.Performance, and from initial concentration, adsorption reaction time, solution p H and The optimal adsorption conditions were explored from various angles such as the amount of charcoal;the adsorption kinetics were analyzed by Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models,quasi-first-order kinetics and second-order kinetic adsorption models. To study the adsorption process of activated carbon on adsorbate, combined with the analysis of physical and chemical indicators of cotton stalk-based activated carbon and the analysis of adsorption process, study the interaction between cotton stalk-based activated carbon and different adsorbates, and study its adsorption mechanism for waste. The resource utilization of cotton stalks and the improvement of cotton stalk-based activated carbon provide theoretical guidance for the adsorption capacity of organic matter in printing and dyeing wastewater.
