| Inner Mongolia is an important coal base in China,with complete coal types and excellent coal quality.By the end of 2018,the region had identified the second largest resource reserves in the country and the country’s number one in production.It is the most important coal chemical demonstration base in China.The elements in coal are like“double-edged swords”.The enrichment of certain elements in coal can be used as special elements for high-element coal,such as germanium,gallium and other strategic minerals in coal.However,some trace elements with low content,such as arsenic,selenium,lead and mercury,are discharged into the environment without effective control,causing environmental problems.Therefore,studying the content and occurrence of elements in coal is the basis for guiding the clean utilization of coal,and it is also the prerequisite for the sound development of the coal industry.Based on this,this paper takes Inner Mongolia coal as the foundation,conducts coal sampling according to the principle of integrity,difference and feasibility.Through experimental tests,the data of each element,sulfur and ash in the coal sample are obtained,and then based on the existing Research and reference to various mineral industry requirements in China to establish a high-element coal indexing scheme in line with China,combined with the background value of elemental content in coal in China to comprehensively evaluate the content of elements in Inner Mongolia coal;secondly,the mathematical method is used to analyze the correlation between trace elements such as arsenic,selenium,lead,mercury and ash and sulfur,which have the greatest impact on the environment.The occurrence of these often neglected trace elements in coal is analyzed to provide guidance for clean utilization of coal.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)On the whole,the macro elements in Inner Mongolia coal are highly enriched in Na2O,CaO and MgO,while Other macro elements are slightly enriched,and trace elements As are slightly enriched.The other trace elements are lower or equal to the background value of Chinese coal.(2)There is a moderate correlation between Pb element and ash in Inner Mongolia coal,indicating that Pb in coal is mainly present in coal in inorganic form.Land-based debris intrusion is its main material source;As,Hg and Se elements have a very weak correlation with ash,indicating that these three elements are not closely related to inorganic state,which is not conducive to the clean utilization of coal.(3)The relationship between Pb and sulfur content in coal is not very close.As element in coal mainly takes inorganic sulfur as carrier,Hg element in coal is not closely related to sulfur content.Se element in coal takes sulfate sulfur as carrier and occurs in coal. |
