Vitrified bonded diamond tools have the advantages of strong grinding force,low grinding temperature,little thermal damage to abrasive grains,good shape retention and high accuracy,which are widely used in high-efficiency and high-speed grinding.However,ceramic bonded diamond abrasives are brittle and easy to break down.When used,Abrasives fall off too quickly,resulting in insufficient toughness.At the same time,the wettability of ceramics and diamonds is poor,and the control of diamonds is weak.It is easy to appear firing shrinkage,which will cause cracks and internal stress,and reduce the strength of abrasive tools.In this paper,mineral polymer material is used instead of ceramics as binder to solidify diamond powder.Tailings and fly ash are used as raw materials in the experiment,which can not only reuse waste,improve ecological environment,but also increase industrial value.In this paper,The effects of the mass ratio of fly ash to metakaolin,NaOH solution to sodium silicate,time on the flexural strength of compressive strength,and the amount of diamond doping on the strength of experimental samples were studied.X-ray diffraction,infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy and universal testing machine were used to characterize the phase composition,microstructure and mechanical properties of the samples.When Potassium feldspar: quartz sand: fly ash: metakaolin = 3:3:2:2,the total mass of metakaolin and fly ash: NaOH solution = 1:0.68.it can be seen that the compressive strength of samples when NaOH solution to sodium silicate mass ratio 1:0.95 after 3d,7d and 28 d is the highest compared with other samples,which were 50.64 MPa,52.38 MPa and 60.81 MPa,respectively.Quartz sand,potassium feldspar content unchanged,changing the mass ratio of fly ash to metakaolin,NaOH solution to sodium silicate was fixed at 1:0.95,mass ratio of fly ash to metakaolin was 1:9.Compressive strength of samples after 3d,7d and 28 d was the highest compared with other samples,which were 75.24 MPa,78.89 MPa and 84.73 MPa,respectively.At the same time,bending strength of samples was the highest compared with other samples.Lower.When the doping amount reaches 15%,the compressive strength of samples reaches 94.67 MPa after 28 days.the compressive strength of samples doped with diamond powder is higher than that of samples without diamond powder.
