With the extensive application of composite materials in aerospace,navigation and infrastructure construction,research on composite foam sandwich panels has been increasing at home and abroad.At present,a great deal of research work has been carried out in the mechanical properties of composite foam sandwich panels.Most of them focus on optimization algorithm and composite layer optimization research in optimum design,and few researches on the structure configuration optimization.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the optimization research of composite foam sandwich panels.A trapezoidal corrugated reinforced composite foam sandwich panel was taken as the research object and load weight ratio of sandwich plate structure was taken as the optimization objective,the optimal configuration of the single layer and multi-layer corrugated composite foam sandwich panels is optimized and analyzed.A multi-layer sandwich plate was designed and fabricated.The mechanical properties and experimental verification were carried out.The accuracy of the modeling method was verified by comparing the experimental results and numerical simulation results,and the load weight ratio of sandwich plate before and after optimization was compared.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The structural load weight ratio was taken as the goal,the ANSYS optimization design module is used to optimize the configuration of single layer corrugated plate reinforced composite foam sandwich panels under three loading conditions,namely,flat,lateral and baroclinic.(2)The number of layers of multilayer sandwich panels is 3.The sensitivity of the threelayer composite foam sandwich panels to the load weight ratio is analyzed,and the key parameters of the structural configuration are determined.With the key parameters as the design variables,the optimal configuration of the multilayer composite foam sandwich panels is determined,and the optimal load weight ratio of the three-layer composite foam sandwich panels is 75908.(3)To design and prepare a three-layer corrugated reinforced composite foam sandwich panel for static compression experiments,and verify the reliability of the modeling method by comparing with the simulation analysis results.According to the method of this paper,the three-layer composite foam sandwich plate is optimized,and the load weight ratio of the sandwich plate is increased by 106.5%.
