Due to the depletion of conventional petroleum resources, the development of some unconventional petroleum resources has been put on the agenda.China is rich in heavy oil resources, but there are many difficulties in exploitation and transportation due to the high viscosity of heavy oil. Therefore,it is urgent to develop effective viscous crude oil viscosity reduction technology under the urgent practical engineering needs. In this paper, the key technology of viscous crude oil viscosity reduction under the combined action of ultrasonic and electromagnetic is studied by using the idea of ultrasonic-electromagnetic dual-effect viscous crude oil viscosity reduction. The mechanism of ultrasonic viscosity reduction was discussed. The ultrasonic cavitation effect played a dominant role, and the thermal effect, mechanical effect and emulsification effect were supplemented.Several main electromagnetic viscosity reduction mechanisms are discussed. At the same time, the simulation software is used to simulate the ultrasonic radiation and electromagnetic field. On this basis, the visbreaking mechanism of ultrasonic/electromagnetic dual effect heavy oil is explored. The application of fuzzy self-tuning PID control and the tracking of ultrasonic resonance frequency have developed a set of high-power dual-output ultrasonic-electromagnetic power supply, which can realize the adjustment of output frequency and power. It includes the design and debugging of hardware circuit and software program.Laboratory experiments were carried out to explore the effects of ultrasonic and electromagnetic single effects on viscosity reduction and their influencing factors.Orthogonal experiments were designed to explore the effects of ultrasonic and electromagnetic double effects on viscosity reduction and their influencing factors. The optimum parameters under the experimental environment are determined to provide reference for actual production.
