With the rapid urbanization and industrialization,a large amount of wastewater discharged from some factories has caused serious water pollution and become one of the most serious environmental problems that endanger the world's biological health. The most common toxic substances in waste water are heavy metal ions and organic dyes.Among the many water treatment methods, the adsorption has been widely used because of its simple operation and economy. In recent years,covalent-linked porous polymers have attracted much attention due to their high specific surface area, low density and easy functionalization, and have become potential adsorbents.Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes and ferrocene and its derivatives are ideal building blocks for the construction of new porous materials due to their excellent properties. The topic of this paper is "The preparation and application of ferrocene and its derivations functionalized POSS-based hybrid porous polymers".The main contents are as followings:1.A series of ferrocene-functionalized POSS-based hybrid porous polymer Fc-HPPs(Fc-HPP-1?Fc-HPP-3)were prepared by Friedel-Crafts reaction using OVS and ferrocene(Fc)as building blocks. The structure of Fc-HPPs was characterized by FT-IR,solid NMR and elemental analysis, indicating the successful preparation of porous polymers. The pore properties of Fc-HPPs were determined by N2 adsorption-desorption experiment. The specific surface areas are 853-1015 m2 g-1;TGA tests show that Fc-HPPs have good thermal stability. In addition,Fc-HPP-2 was used as an example to characterize the order and morphology of porous polymers. The storage capacity of CO2 and the adsorption capacity of dyes and heavy metal ions in wastewater were explored. The equilibrium adsorption values for Congo red(CR)and Crystal violet(CV)were 1683 and 1083 mg g-1,respectively.And the equilibrium adsorption values for Pb2+ and Hg2+ were 328 and 191 mg g-1,respectively.Taking Congo red as an example, the removal rate of contaminants in the water was studied. It was found that the contaminants could be completely removed within 60 minutes, indicating that the porous polymer can remove organic dyes quickly and efficiently. In addition, cyclic adsorption-desorption experiments showed that the polymer was easy to regenerate, and the removal efficiency after six cycles was not significantly reduced.2.Two parallel series of diphenylphosphine-substituted ferrocene-functionalized POSS-based hybrid porous polymers DPPF-HPPs(DPPF-HPP-1?DPPF-HPP-3)and DPPOF-HPPs(DPPOF-HPP-1?DPPOF-HPP-3)were obtained via Friedel-Crafts reaction by using OVS and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphine)ferrocene(DPPF)/1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphine oxide)ferrocene(DPPOF)as building blocks. The structures of DPPF-HPPs and DPPOF-HPPs were characterized by FT-IR and solid NMR,indicating the successful occurrence of reaction. The pore properties of DPPF-HPPs and DPPOF-HPPs were determined by N2 adsorption-desorption experiment. The specific surface areas are 778-905 m2 g-1;TGA test showed that DPPF-HPPs and DPPOF-HPPs have good thermal stability. In addition,DPPF-HPP-1 and DPPOF-HPP-1 were used as examples to characterize the order and morphology of porous polymers. They are all amorphous structures and have the ability to adsorb dyes and heavy metal ions in waste water.Adsorption behavior was studied. The results show that DPPF-HPP-1 and DPPOF-HPP-1 have good adsorption capacity for dyes and heavy metal ions in water, which can be quickly removed and the adsorbent is easy to be regenerated and reused.
