Emulsified explosives generally refer to water-in-oil(W/O)latex-type water-resistant industrial explosives prepared by emulsification technology. The water-in-oil(W/O)system belongs to a thermodynamically unstable system.During low temperature environment and cold season construction,Often encountering incomplete detonation or even refusal, which reflects the low temperature stability of emulsion explosives. It not only limits the use and promotion of emulsion explosives, but also brings huge safety hazards and property losses.Starting from the composition of emulsion explosives,it is of great and far-reaching significance to study the variation law and mechanism of emulsion explosives under low temperature conditions, and to improve the low temperature resistance of emulsion explosives. In order to improve the low temperature resistance of emulsion explosives, two industrially used pour point depressants(commonly known as antifreeze)T808B and T602 were introduced into the emulsion explosives to study the effect of pour point depressants on the low temperature stability of emulsion explosives. In this paper,METTLER TOLEDO TGA thermal analysis instrument was used to investigate the safety performance of pour point depressant after adding emulsion explosive. Then, the influence of pour point depressant on the viscosity and surface tension of emulsion phase oil phase material was studied by controlled variable method. The low-temperature stability of the emulsion explosive before and after the addition of the pour point depressant was compared by microscopic observation. Finally, the explosive performance of the emulsion explosive under low temperature conditions was studied by the compressed lead column method. The research of this thesis mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Before and after adding pour point depressant, the quality of the emulsion matrix was consistent with the temperature curve under non-isothermal thermal decomposition conditions. The results of thermal decomposition parameters of latex matrix before and after adding pour point depressant were not significantly different by Ozawa method,Kissinger method and method. The addition of pour point depressants to emulsion explosives does not affect safety performance.(2)The pour point depressant has a certain viscosity-increasing effect. In terms of oil phase state, the viscosity increase rate of liquid oil after adding pour point depressant is higher than that of solid oil.The viscosity-increasing effect of T808 B is slightly better than that of T602;the surface tension of oil phase It decreases as the temperature increases, but the addition of the pour point depressant increases the surface tension of the oil phase.(3)Pour point depressants can improve the low temperature stability of emulsion explosives.Compared with the blank group without added pour point depressant, the addition of pour point depressant can reduce the crystallization rate of the emulsion explosive after freezing. The pitch and particle size of the water-in-oil particles of the emulsion explosive microstructure are also smaller than those without the pour point depressant.(4)The addition of pour point depressant can improve the explosive performance of emulsion explosive under low temperature conditions. The effect of adding T808 B is slightly better than that of T602.The low temperature resistance of pour point depressant and oil of different states is different. The short time(less than 10d)freezing condition Under the condition that the pour point depressant and the liquid oil have good matching effect, the solid oil of the pour point depressant has better matching effect under the long-term(greater than 15d)freezing condition.Figure[28] table[13] reference[52]...
