Aggregation-induced emission(AIE),a crucial feature in luminescence research, which can offer broader application range for fluorescent molecules and therefore raised a lot of interests.Nowadays, the general method forming AIE fluorescent dyes is to add AIE function groups in the structure of molecules. In this thesis,we have designed and synthesized a group of amphipathic rod-coil molecule 1-4,although there is no AIE sections in their structures, these molecules shows AIE effect. After found out a synthetic route and confirmed the structure of products, what we concerned next is how the molecules self-assembled.Experimental results exhibits that all four kinds of molecule go down a conversion from solid phase to liquid phase during heated.Except molecule 1 has a low crystallinity so that cannot be resolved, molecule 2 self-assembles into tetragonal perforated lamellar(TPL)meanwhile molecule 3 and 4 into body-centered tetragonal micellar phase. In aqueous solution, these molecules express macroscopic chirality even without any chiral additives.Molecule 1 and 2 self-assemble into nanospheres attributed to less hydrophilic parts.Under the same conditions,3 and 4,whose length of hydrophilic segment is twice as 1 and 2,self-assembly process is phased.Molecule 3 self-assembles smaller spherical shape first, then become nanoribbons and a sheet-like structure with holes.Under the induction of molecular chirality, molecule 4 rapidly assembled from spherical shape into short nanorods, eventually forming irregular nanofibers. |
