| The raw ore of an iron mine in Geermu has a high sulfur content,and its location is strictly environmentally friendly.At present,a simple “grinding-magnetic separation” process is adopted.The existing high-sulfur iron concentrate due to high grade of sulfur and low grade of iron(the sulfur grade of this research sample is as high as 9.71% and the iron grade is only 56.69%),need to further improve iron grade and decrease sulfur grade in the industrial park.The subject of this degree has carried out systematic research on the raw ore and high-sulfur iron concentrate of this mine,including process mineralogy research,high-sulfur iron ore(raw ore)mineral processing test,iron-raising and sulfur-reducing test of high-sulfur iron concentrate(product)and theoretical analysis of the separation of pyrrhotite.The following conclusions have been drawn:(1)process mineralogy studies show that the main metallic minerals of high-sulfur iron ore(raw ore)are magnetite,pyrrhotite,pyrite and a small amount of sphalerite,etc.The magnetite inlay has finer grain size and pyrrhotite inlay has coarse grain size.However,there are complex symbiotic relationships between them,such as Inclusions and continuous crystal.The main metal minerals of high-sulfur iron concentrate are magnetite and pyrrhotite,and the dissociation degree of magnetite ore is low,only 77.7%.(2)The high-sulfur iron ore(raw ore)beneficiation test shows that after flotation with one roughing and one sweeping sulphur,and magnetic separation of the sweeping tailings,a high-quality iron concentrate with iron grade of 66.52% and sulphur grade of 0.44% is obtained,and the iron recovery rate is 51.73%.The sulphur concentrate with 30.69% grade is obtained by three open-circuit concentrations combined with roughing and sweeping sulphur concentrate.The sulfur recovery rate was 63.65%.(3)The test of iron-raising and sulfur-reducing of high-sulphur iron concentrate shows that after demagnetization and fine grinding,flotation with one roughness and two sweeping sulphur and magnetic separation of sweeping tailings,the grade of iron concentrate is 66.94%,the sulphur grade in iron concentrate is still as high as 1.05%,and the iron recovery rate is only 50.31%.The sulphur concentrate with 28.52% grade and sulfur recovery rate was 58.25% is obtained by three open-circuit concentrations combined with roughing and sweeping sulphur concentrate.(4)Through the XRD analysis of the above two iron concentrates and the comparison of the sulphur flotation index,combined with the analysis of the oxidative properties of the pyrrhotite,the floatability of the pyrrhotite in the high-sulfur iron concentrate is lower than than that of the raw ore. |
