In order to remove the pollutional formaldehyde with a low concentration at room temperature,a new type of structured catalyst coupling catalytic oxidation at room temperature and photocatalytic was developed in this research. The specific research contents are as follows.(1)The catalysts xTiO2/?-Al2O3/Al with different TiO2 contents were prepared in this paper, and the influence of TiO2 loadings on catalyst structure were investigated. The results show that the reactive hydroxyls on catalyst surface became more abundant with the increase of TiO2 loadings. The influence of xTiO2/?-Al2O3/Al on the elimination of formaldehyde was tested in 3m3 environmental test chamber. The results suggest that the removal ratio of formaldehyde was positively correlated with Ti02 loadings.(2)The noble metal Pt was loaded in xTiO2/?-Al2O3/Al catalysts, and it is found that the Pt dispersion was first increased and then decreased with the increase of TiO2 loadings. And the catalytic activity has increased with the increase of Pt dispersion. The conversion of HCHO reached 92%in 40 minutes with catalyst Pt/9.53TiO2/?-Al2O3/Al under the ultraviolet light. The tolerance test proves that the degradation of HCHO was still proceeding even after working 79 days continuely.(3)The removal effect of HCHO was investigated by varying the reaction conditions including fan speed,RH,intensity of UV light,C0 and catalyst dosage. The removal of'toluene was studied under room temperature at last. The result shows that the conversion of toluene reached 28.2%in 40 minutes.
