Electroslag Remelting(referred to as ESR)is an important branch of electroslag metallurgy technology.The easting of production is of high purity;the structure is of densification;the ingredient is of great balance;and the performance is of exellence.Electroslag remelting system is a nonlinear complex system.With the development of electroslag remelting technology and the growth of remelting steel demand,it is necessary to improve the mathematical model and optimum control method.For this purpose,this thesis establishes a complete mathematical model of electroslag remelting process.The model is used of effect verification to process PID control and fuzzy PID control in the way of simulation,and the experiment platform of electroslag remelting simulation system is developed.In this thesis,I use the most typical single-phase unipolar electroslag furnace as the research object,learn and research the basic principle and process of electroslag remelting technology,and analyze the important factors influencing slag,temperature,metal molten pool on the remelting process.Quantitative analysis is also made for the important parts of the system,including the resistance of the slag pool,system power supply,heat transfer of the slag pool,mold cooling water,electrode melting and electrode spacing.And every link is put together according to the mathematical relationship and the whole model of electroslag remelting system is established with the control target of melting current.So it is possible to discuss the comparison of control effect in different control methods.Using PID control method and fuzzy PID control method,the electroslag remelting system is controlled,and the control effect of the two methods is compared.By choosing suitable proportion,integral and differential parameters,PID controller can control the electroslag remelting process ideally.However,the parameters of common PID controller is fixed,so the control effect is still to be improved in various phases or under different conditions of electroslag remelting.Fuzzy PID controller can dynamically tune PID parameters,so that the PID parameters always applies to current system characteristics in the whole smelting process.In this way,the overall conrtrol effect has the advantages of stability,good adaptability of different stages and under different conditions.The simulation analysis is carried out by MATLAB,and the effectiveness of the fuzzy PID control method is verified.In this thesis,the simulation experiment platform of electroslag remelting is developed,and the system model and control method are used.The simulation system is built in a modular form,including main interface of the system,control algorithm module,controlled object module,and the simulation animation module.Among them,the main interface of the system is in the form of WinForm,whose function is complete;compatibility is good,and easy to operate.Controlling algorithm module and the controlled object module is developed in the way of the M file though the MATLAB.Though the deploytool command,the file is packaged into.dll,and is invoked in the way of function from the main interface,with high flexibility,and easy to upgrade and expand by experimenters.Simulation animation module is developed by Unity 3D,and through Socket communication it can get access to the main interface and can show directly and visually the production process of the electroslag remelting on the same server or at different servers by the main interface.The experimental platform provides a comprehensive experimental object,which is convenient to research the technology of electroslag remelting and the effect of the control algorithm for the experimenters.
