Tailing pond,as a special industrial building,is one of the three control projects of mining industry.It's also a kind of dangerous source of high-risk artificial debris flow.The tailing slag is transported to the tailing pond by hydraulics for storage after the mineral processing plant selects the valuable mineral materials.For the particularity of storaging tailing slag,the tailing mud in the tailing pond isn't effectively consolidated,resulting in the dry beach of the tailing pond surface is too short,and the infiltration line is high which is hard to decline.The high water-content mud frequently gives rise to collapse of the tailing dam,mud leakage in the karst area,and other tailing disasters.This paper focuses on evaporation which unfortunately has been ignored previously.The technological method is reducing the albedo of tailing mud.The key is to accelerate the evaporation of mud.The purpose is to accelerate mud's consolidation?to enlarge the dry beach of tailing pond and to reduce the infiltration line of tailing pond.Then the final purpose is to improve the safety and stability of tailing pond.So in this paper,I proposed a new method for measuring the albedo of limited extent region.The results which we got by the new method is exact.The new method's advantage is that experimental model was easily made.The result of the third chapter shows the black mud took 6 days to complete the evaporation under the natural weather conditions,original mud took 8 days,which was two days earlier than the original mud.The result also shows the darkened mud can absorb more solar radiation and accelerate the evaporation.However black coating that darkens mud isn't a scientific choice whether economy or environmental protection.It's significant to continue to study the substitution of black paint.The result of fourth chapter shows the black mud took 80 hours to complete the evaporation under the light,while the mud with the black ash took 102 hours.Although the black-ash mud took more 14 hours,considering the economic?environmental protection and vegetational reclamation tailing pond.The black-ash's potential composite value is more attractive.This paper provides a new view to reflect on tailing mud's evaporation and consolidation,and puts forward the point that darkened mud can accelerate the evaporation and consolidation of mud.Then experiment has verified the view was true.It provides theoretical basis for accelerating the evaporation and consolidation of tailing mud.This paper provides a new method for improving the safety and stability of tailing pond.At the end,the author have summarized the achievement and given the next research direction.
