Foam plastics play a significant role in all areas of production and life.Among the commonly used foam materials,resin foams plastics are widely used in industry,agriculture,construction,transportation and other fields due to their excellent properties,such as light weight,high rigidity,dimensional stability,chemical resistance,heat resistance,low smoke,and low price.In the actual resin foaming production process,the agitation and mixing process of the material is extremely complicated,and the movement of the fluid is the complicated single-phase flow,two-phase flow or multi-phase flow.Moreover,the application research of liquid-liquid phase stirred vertical reactor in the preparation of resin foam is relatively scarce at present.In order to solve the above problems,this paper analyzes the input and output conditions by studying the mixing mechanism of liquid-liquid phase stirring in the resin foaming device,and designs the basic structure and model of the liquid-liquid phase stirring vertical reactor in the resin foaming device.The cylinder diameter of the vertical reactor is 120 mm and the height is 200 mm.Two inlets with a diameter of 20 mm are symmetrically arranged at both ends of the vertical reactor.The bottom of the vertical reactor is provided with a diversion tube and a nozzle with a diameter of 20 mm is provided.And a stirring shaft with an outer diameter of 80 mm was arranged in the vertical reactor.Set the different structure and operating parameters of the vertical reactor,the stirring shaft dipping depth: 150 mm,65mm,180mm;the stirring shaft speed: 2400 rpm,3000rpm,3600rpm;the stirring shaft type: four-leaf type,six-leaf type,eight-leaf type.The effects of different structures and operating parameters in the resin foaming unit on the mixing performance of liquid-liquid phase stirred vertical reactor were studied by CFD numerical simulation technology.Find out the optimal structure and operating parameters from the comparison and analysis of the velocity field,pressure fluctuation characteristics,and phase volume fraction in vertical reactor.The orthogonal experiment of the macroscopic mixing effect of the stirred vertical reactor under different structures and operating parameters was carried out by using the three-factor and three-level orthogonal experimental design ideas.Through 9 sets of experiments,it is found that the volume fraction of the aliao phase in the test 5 vertical reactor is the largest,and the mixing effect is the best.The structure and operating parameters are as follows: the length of the stirring shaft is 165 mm,the stirring shaft speed is 3000 rpm,and the stirring shaft type is the eight-leaf type.From the degree of affecting the macroscopic mixing effect of the vertical reactor in the resin foaming device,the stirring shaft rotation speed has the greatest influence on the mixing effect,followed by the stirring shaft dipping depth,and the least affected is the stirring shaft type.
