Graphene is a new type of nano-material with carbon atoms sp~2 hybridized.It has many excellent properties,such as high strength,modulus and electrical conductivity,as well as antibacterial and anti-ultraviolet properties.Polyamide 6 fiber is one of the most used fibers,with good corrosion resistance,insect resistance,but lacks of light resistance and antibacterial properties.However,graphene/polyamide 6 composite fiber which was prepared by melt spining,it not only has excellent mechanical properties,but also displays excellent antibactirial and anti-UV properties.The main research works of this dissertation are as follows:Firstly,a high-quality graphene oxide was prepared via the modified Hummers method,and reduced graphene was prepared by microwave method.Meanwhile different types of modified graphene were prepared.Secondly,the characterized results showed that the prepared graphenes were of good quality.Finally,a twin-screw extruder was empolyed to prepare graphene/PA6 master batch and then melt spinning was adopted to produce graphene/PA6 composites fiber.It was found that non-covalent bonding method can make modified graphene oxide reach high degree of organicization.Secondly the impact of different types of graphene on the PA6 composite was investigated.The results show that the modifiecation graphene displays a better compatibility with PA6 matrix,and the organicization of graphene by modifier BAC is more efficient,safe and environmental friendly.What's more,under the condition of equal amount,the mechanical properties of PA6 composite fibers prepared by adding organo-modified graphene are better than those of PA6 composite fibers prepared by adding unmodified graphene,the results of SEM characterization also showed that the organic modified graphene was more homogeneous in the PA6 fibers matrix.Finally,loadding in a small amount of modified graphene oxide,the composites fiber exhibit a bright antibacterial properties(0.9 wt.%,antibacterial rate=94%)and UV resistance(UPF>450).In addition,the heat resistance and limiting oxygen index of the composite fibers were improved to a certain extent.
