Lacquer is a processed natural coating.In China,It has been recognized and painted on the surface of all kinds of utensils from the Neolithic age.With the industrial revolution and the social changes in ideology,tremendous changes in the national way of life and culture,historical limitations follow the old concept of neglect of technology,technology will be eternal and dogma,to make lacquer has nothing to do with the social environment and cultural things,to make lacquer into an isolated and process industry specifically,the culture and isolation,this is the sorrow of lacquer.In a highly developed and highly complex contemporary background,we urgently need to guide the development of lacquer art in a new,modern manual concept,to make lacquer into contemporary culture,contemporary art.The first part of this paper is start from the macro point of view this new concept into the whole hand,to make lacquer arts and crafts category,change the transverse observation of its ideas.The background and reason of the novice concept in modern lacquer art are analyzed with the view of universal contact and development.The second part of this paper is through to the modern lacquer works summarized,combining the practice of the graduation design of the author's own,from the open space,comprehensive technology,accidental process,multi visual language four aspects of works at the conceptual level,innovation consciousness and thinking.Tradition must be a continuation,it must be a resurrection,and a new light must shine on us.So,the modern lacquer must be oriented by tradition,tradition,to question the traditional technique,to find their own shortcomings,value reconstruction.We should abandon the old theory andconcept understanding of lacquer art rigid,use multiple,free,open default new ideas to break through the single hand,standard and technology of the traditional lacquer art.The traditional lacquer process is inherited,reconfigured,supplemented,deconstructed and reorganized by combining and introducing other processes.To examine the traditional lacquer craft to modernity,appear more open to make lacquer finish,tradition and future attachment,solve the traditional lacquer dilemma in modern times,to retain the traditional craft culture essence.
