The oil derrick is an important bearing component of the entire oil drilling rig system. It undertakes important load-bearing tasks in drilling and production operations.Although the design and manufacture of oil derrick steel structures are intact after delivery, most steel derricks work in harsh field conditions. After the oil derrick steels are put into service, various types of early and partial damages will inevitably occur in the whole or in part of the steel structure of the oil derrick due to the adverse environment, continuous disassembly and transportation, and high operational intensity.Corrosion, bending, load eccentricity, joint failure, etc.are common early and partial damages in the actual operation of the oil derrick. These will lead to a huge gap between the actual state of the oil derrick and the lossless ideal state of the design and manufacturing. The overall safety performance of the oil derrick will be greatly reduced due to these common early and local damages, which will directly affect the safe operation of drilling and well-repairing operations. This kind of problem can not be ignored in engineering,so it is very important to carry out the analysis of mechanical behavior of oil derrick steel structures with early and local damage. This article mainly studies the oil derrick with early and local damage from the following aspects:For the model ZJ70 oil derrick in the laboratory,ANSYS finite element modeling method was determined. The most common early and local damages and their production mechanism of oil derricks in service are analyzed, and the effects of various early and local damages on the static and dynamic characteristics caused by various early and local damages are expounded theoretically; The damage simulation method in this paper is outlined.Based on the detailed analysis of the four typical early and local damage forms such as the corrosion of the cross section, the initial bending of the rod,the reduction of the coupling performance, and the eccentricity of the load,a corresponding damage function is deduced.Through the introduction of the damage function, the finite element simulation model of the oil derrick steel structure with early and local damage was constructed. The effects of the early and local damages of these four oil derrick steel structures on the mechanical behavior of the oil derrick were studied in detail, including the corrosion of sections, the initial bending of members, the reduction of joint performance, and the load. The laboratory oil derrick model was tested for strain and vibration under simulated damage conditions.Using the LabVIEW oil derrick test software, the data of the laboratory oil derrick model was collected and analyzed to verify the agreement between the theoretical data and the experimental data.In this paper, static and dynamic analysis methods are used to analyze oil derricks with early and local damage, and the influence of early and local damages on the mechanical behavior of steel derricks in oil derricks is accurately analyzed. This has the effect on determining the safety performance of oil derricks with early and local damages.Positive significance.
