In the casting process,good mould taper is the assurance of the quality of slab,It has proved that most of the slab defects are formed in the crystallizer,and the formation of most defects are related to the mould taper.Mould taper limit slab speed,not only affect the casting billet quality,also affect the pieces copper of mould loss and the backup roll group replacement cycle,influencing casting machine run time.So,optimizes the mould taper and cooling support roller is quite valuable.Firstly,In this paper,through analysis of molten steel in continuous casting machine for solid state by liquid cooling characteristics,according to the laws of the slab shrinkage in the crystallizer,Using the database of accumulating,continuously optimizes the mould taper Introduces the different taper curve and characteristics.According to different steel grade and drawing speed setting different taper curve,in accordance with taper curve values.Secondly,Using finite element software,the slab temperature field and stress field of the crystallizer simulation analysis,draw mold casting shrinkage deformation data,to realize parametric design of mould taper adjustment.Thirdly,Using of production experience and simulation and Comprehensive consideration in the production of a variety of factors,To formulate scientific and rational taper adjustment method.Through practical verification,the taper value adjustment method the effect is good,this article takes satisfies the requirement of high effective production of slab.
