Magnetic compound fluid(MCF)is still in exploring new areas and has wide application prospect,one of whose new development direction is achieving precision surface grinding of soft plastic material,such as polymeric resins,copper alloy.This issue took the copper alloy as an abrasive objects,analyzed basic characteristics and grinding mechanism of magnetic compound fluid grinding,strive to make a breakthrough in magnetic compound fluid grinding technology on copper alloys and other soft metal materials.In this paper,by the contrast and contact method,first of all we studied the basic features of the magnetic compound fluid grinding in detail.Initially,analyzed the basic features of the object grinding-copper alloys,such as its physical characteristics and grinding processing characteristics;Then,this paper studied the basic features of the slurry systematic,explored the slurry structure from the microscopic and its magnetization characteristics and rheological properties,make a point of that grinding force was mainly achieved by magnetic compound fluid shear stress.In addition,it analyzed the ingredients of magnetic compound fluid,and designed experiments to verify the specific impact on the processing of different effects of the abrasive type,size and grinding fluid composition ratio.Secondly,this paper analyzed the motion characteristics of the copper alloy magnetic compound fluid grinding process.it analyzed the copper alloy magnetic compound fluid grinding principle,build the abrasive trajectory and velocity models,and experimentally explored the concrete impact of abrasives' velocity on grinding effect.What's more,from the point of view of the kinematics,taking into account the problems in grinding process,this paper proposed appropriate improvement measures,such as leading eccentricity into process or improvement of the track.Again,the mechanism of copper alloy magnetic compound fluid grinding was discussed from the angle of mechanics in this paper.The material removal mechanism in the process of general grinding and micro machining mechanism of magnetic compound fluid grinding were analyzed.Meanwhile,the distribution ofmagnetic field was simulated finite element and the magnetic force of magnetic particle and the interaction force between magnetic grains were analyzed.Shear stress model of grinding fluid was established finally.Besides,mechanics model of Non magnetic abrasive particle was established,and the force of grinding particle was discussed deeply.Finally,this paper explored the influence of the mechanical parameters to the grinding effect,described the magnetic compound fluid grinding material removal by Preston formula,and studied how the magnetic field strength and the machining gap affected the grinding results through experiments.
