Foam glass is a kind of superior building material and decorative material with low density and high strength,and can be used in many filed,such as thermal insulation,voice absorption,fire protection and moisture protection.In the building energy saving background,reducing the foaming temperature and foaming time have excellent environmental meaning and application value.Besides,the porous structure can not only adjust the impedance difference between the material and free space,but also increase the travel path.So the foam glass matrix composite prepared by adding suitable microwave-absorber to the foam glass,may have excellent microwave absorption properties.Prepare the foam glass with powder sintering method.The article mainly studies the effect of foaming technology including composition,foam temperature,foaming time and content of foaming agent on the structure and properties of the material.Then the article studies the effect of structure and thickness on the microwave absorption properties.Finally,add some?-SiC,NiFe2O4,Ni to the the foam glass,to study the effect of these material on the structure and properties of foam glass.TG-DSC,XRD,SEM were utilized to identify the composition and microstructure of foam glass,and the density,bending strength,and reflectivity and electromagnetic parameters were measured volume method,3-point technique and VNA,respectively.Find it,the composition,foaming temperature,foaming time and content of foaming agent have significant influence on the properties of foam glass.When the content of TiO2 is 0wt%,the content of foaming agent is 0.8wt%,the foaming temperature is 840?,the foaming time is 30min,can get foam glass with excellent performance,whose density,bending strength and thermal conductivity were0.28g/cm3,1.6Mpa,0.115W/?m·K?,respectively?The structure of foam glass had prominent effect on the microwave absorption property.The reflectivity samples with circular holes of 0.5mm,thickness of 7mm is lower than-10dB in the range from 8.2GHZz to 12.4GHz.Adding moderate SiC can reduce the reflectivity from 9.210.3GHz,and reached the minimum when the content of SiC is 6wt%.The addition of NaFe2O4 can promote the production of other crystal which is not microwave absorber and weaken the microwave absorption ability.The adding of Ni can reduce the foaming temperature and part of Ni wasn't oxidized and distributed on the cell walls uniformly in the form of element.The phenomenon is in line with imagination.
