Bioremoval Of Dioxane,Petroleum Hydrocarbons And Chlorohydrocarbon Compound Contaminants In Groundwater | | Posted on:2019-10-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X Huang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2381330563985507 | Subject:Agriculture | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | There are many organic pollutants in the groundwater such as 1,4-Dioxane,BTEX,TCE,TCA,and PCE.These contanimate often co-exist in the subsurface environment and causes serious pollution to groundwater.In this study,the mixed contaminated in groundwater were selected as research objects.1,4-Dioxane,BTEX,and chlorinated hydrocarbons were used as carbon sources and energy sources for microbial growth.The microbial flora were enriched and cultivated by utilizing the organic pollutants in the groundwater result in removeing the contaminant in the groundwater by biological treatment.After long-term incubation with high concentration of contaminants,the indigenous enriched and used to degrade the contaminants.Meantime,individual microbes were isolated and their capapbility to degrade the chlorinated contaminants were also evaluated by using gas chromatography.Providing theoretical basis for the restoration of compound pollutants in groundwater.The result is as follows:(1)The isolated microbial flora has great potential to bioremove ethylbenzene,m-xylene and p-xylene.(2)Chlorohydrocarbon microbial flora has the best degradation for PCE in utilizing the various of chlorinated hydrocarbon organic pollutants.(3)In terms of Isolate E3,60% of TCA(100 ppm)and 90% of TCE(100 ppm)were bioremoved after 432 hours of incubation.(4)Isolate AE5 can bioremove 80% of TCA,70% of TCE,and 80% of PCE respectively within 432h. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Groundwater, Microbial, 1,4-Dioxane, BTEX, TCA, TCE, PCE | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
