Ge kiln porcelain has bright and smooth glaze,and its body is thin and the glaze is thick.The bubbles that contained in the glaze are dense,which look like accumulated beads under the microscope.The glaze is glossy and shining as coagulated fat and jade.The glaze of body is interwoven with dark and thick or light and thin lines,which are known as"golden threads"and always being popular with people.The characteristics of Ge kiln porcelain result from variation effect of the kiln.There are many uncertain factors in mass production,such as color of glaze can be blue,gray or yellow,and crackle line can be more or less,thick or thin.It's hard to get bulk products with similar results.This dissertation studies on the characteristics,development and status quo of Ge kiln porcelain,basing on which the main content of this dissertation is advancing:How to imitate porcelain with the characteristics of Ge kiln using cheap raw materials for daily use,and to get stable bulk production meanwhile,so that both ornamental value and practical value can be realized.This experiment used some cheap local raw materials to make a suitable matching of blank for grouting process.At the same time,the glaze formula was designed to match with the blank,getting the glaze material similar to the effect of the porcelain of Ge kiln porcelain.Using glazing techniques twice,the parameters of reasonable process were tested to achieve the purpose of thickening glaze.The system of sintering was made,and achieving the best effect by making billet and glaze be burned.Through the experiment,the results showed that:adding about 60%of a few kinds of cheap raw materials could get a good blank formula imitating Ge kiln.The amount of SiO2 in the glaze composition was 3.44.2mol,which was easy to cause glaze crack.Tests showed that the expansion coefficient of porcelain tube was 4.20 x 10-6/?,the water absorption rate was 0.05%,and the thermal stability was good?that is to say20120 heat exchange did not cause cracking of porcelain?.Through XRD detection,the body of the crystal was found mainly quartz and mullite.By scanning electronic microscopy,the formation and the trend of cracks could be clearly observed,glaze layers were well developed,and the combination of blank and glaze was very good.Through the experiment,we obtained a good imitation of the Ge kiln porcelain with high quality and good effects,and made reasonable firing systems and technological parameters,so as to adapt to the mass production out of which the products'quality was stable.
