Research On Landscape Method And Application In Ecological Restoration Of Municipal Landfill Site

It is inevitable to produce a lot of garbage in the process of urbanization.In addition,the municipal waste landfill sites not only take up a large number of land resources,but cause serious and continuous pollution on the ecological environment,which influence urban development all the time.In the face of the undesirable Grey Zones in modern cities,the traditional environmental engineering restoration just can provide corresponding technical support,but they can’t support the construction of the sites’ subsequent ecological functions as well as values.By means of the involvement and supplement of landscape approach,the new sites will be endowed with new ecological,landscape and social functions so that the municipal waste landfill sites can come alive again.However,how to make use of landscape approach to update municipal waste landfill sites under the protection of environmental engineering technology?The following researches are carried out in the paper:First of all,the theories and methods of waste landfill sites’ ecological restoration at home and abroad are sorted.Six typical cases at home and abroad are studied in detail.Besides,the distinctive modern landscape approaches in excellent cases are summarized.Secondly,Ningbo Tongpenpu garbage dump is investigated.Based on the analysis of the site’s pollution and risk assessments,the environmental engineering technology application during the ecological restoration is elaborated.Moreover,according to the post planning,the application of landscape approaches during the site’s ecological restoration is explored.Finally,on the basis of environmental engineering technology restoration,the framework of landscape approach application of Ningbo Tongpenpu garbage dump closure is constructed from three perspectives of phased implementation,interactive experience and function regeneration.It aims to dig into the dynamic process of site landscape construction and clarify the necessity and significance of public participation and landscape function regeneration.At the same time,it attempts to provide a new and feasible design idea and establish a sustainable landscape system so as to provide ideas and references for the landscape design in the process of other municipal waste landfill sites’ ecological restoration.
