Dye wastewater includes many persistent pollutants. The problem has attracted much attention.Photocatalysis and adsorption have been widely applicated in the removal of the pollutants in the dye wastewater.Photocatalysis can effectively transferred solar energy without second pollution. But the traditional photocatalyst should be further modified to increase its utilization of solar energy.Adsorption,as a kind of low cost, simple operation, high efficient wastewater treatment method, can be effectively used in dye wastewater decolorization. However, the economic efficiency and application performance of adsorption should be improved. This paper is devoted to the synthesis of photocatalyst and adsorbent which are applicated in the dye wastewater treatment. The research is divided into the following two parts:(1)Different BiVO4/MWCNT/Ag composites were synthesized by hydrothermal method. When the weight ratio of Ag is 20%,the composite has the best efficiency of degrading RhB under visible light irradiation.Afterwards,BiVO4/MWCNT/Ag@AgCl composites with different mole ratio of Ag to AgCl were synthesized through in situ oxidization method. When the mole ratio of FeCl3 to AgNO3 is 4:1,the composite has the best efficiency. The catalytic performance of the composite does not change obviously after five runs.(2)SiMgAlO composites with different magnesium content were synthesized by the calcination method. At the same time, the influence of dye types, adsorption time, dosing quantity of adsorbent and temperature on adsorption is discussed. The adsorption process followed the Langmuir isotherm. The efficiency of absorbing methylene blue decreases slightly after five runs, which indicating that the composite we synthesized are stable and effective.
