The axle is one of the important parts of the process of moving the car, directly to the weight of the body and the vibration from the wheel. The distance between the journal and the bearing inner ring, the gear box seat and the gear, the wheel seat and the wheel pair must be strictly guaranteed, and the size of any journal, gear box seat and wheel seat is not Allowed,if there is a problem in dimensional stability,it will cause many adverse effects on the operation of the EMU.In the manufacturing process, the inside of the work piece will inevitably produce residual stress, after a period of time placed, the release of residual stress will lead to changes in the size of the axle.In this paper, the effect of different grinding parameters on the residual stress of the grinding surface is studied, and the problem of micro-deformation of EA4 T axle after aging is studied. The mechanical properties of the axle are tested according to the provisions of EN-13261 on the axle, and the mechanical properties of the axle are tested.(1)Specimens were removed from the finished axles, and their mechanical properties, such as chemical composition, metallographic structure and tensile strength, were detected respectively.According to the provisions of EN-13261,the specifications of the materials were tested.(2)The grinding test was carried out by building a test platform, the effects of different grinding parameters on the grinding temperature field and the stress field were analyzed by taking the values of grinding heat and grinding force in different grinding wheel speed, work piece speed and grinding depth. The residual stress on the surface after grinding was measured by blind hole method. The influence of different grinding parameters on the residual stress was analyzed. The control of the surface residual stress grinding parameters optimization, and then the size of the axle to achieve the stability of the control effect(3)The finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to establish the grinding model and simulate the entire grinding process. The changes of grinding heat and residual stress under different grinding parameters were studied, and the results werecompared with the experimental results.(4)Finally,the above results are analyzed synthetically, and the relationship between grinding parameters and dimensional deformation is obtained. To develop a new grinding process,as far as possible to reduce the grinding surface residual stress,to achieve the purpose of controlling the stability of axle size.
