Since it was found that the single crystal TiO2 electrode was able to catalyze and degrade water,the using of semiconductor photocatalytic degradation of pollutants in water and some of the organic matrix has been favored by researchers in recent years.CaTi2O4(OH)2 has a kind of nano lamellar structure with metastable phase compounds,and many layered metal hydroxide are similar to its structure,which have been widely used in battery,sensor,catalyst,electric active material,optically active materials and electrochemical hydrogen storage industrial field.In this paper,we mainly investigate the controllable preparation of CaTi2O4(OH)2 morphology and the influence of changing process conditions on the microstructure and photocatalytic properties.Through the discussion and analysis of their XRD,SEM,UV Vis absorption spectra and their photocatalytic properties of the prepared samples,those results showed that CaTi2O4(OH)2 powder phase can be obtained when NaOH addition to 2.04.0ml,in addition,when the adding amount is 3.4ml,the prepared samples had the highest crystallinity,and the most complete sheet-like morphology and the best photocatalytic activity can be obtained.Furtherly,by changing the hydrothermal conditions,we found that hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time had a great influence on the growth of sheet structure,and the growth mechanism of the samples was discussed by exploring the variation of the micro morphology of the samples under different hydrothermal time.We can find the photocatalytic performance of the rapidly cooling samples were significantly increasing compared with that of the slow cooling samples by changing the cooling style.From the analysis of their XRD,it can be found that the possible reasons for the quenching samples has a high activity in(251)crystal surface caused by excessive exposure.When using four different polar solvent as hydrothermal solvent,the results showed that the flaky morphology of CaTi2O4(OH)2 could be obtained by using water and cyclohexane as solvent separately,and the photocatalytic performance of the samples in the solvent of cyclohexane obtained was higher than the samples in the aqueous solution.It can be observed the samples which used water as solvent in(040)preferential growth,while the samples used cyclohexane as solvent in(251)preferential growth by compared with their XRD atlas.It is possible reasons for the excellent photocatalytic performance of the samples of taking cyclohexane for solvent that the(251)crystal face of CaTi2O4(OH)2 higher activity than that of(040).However,when taking ethanol and ethylene glycol as filler solution experiment,and it was observed that the photocatalytic properties of the powder samples was unsatisfactory,but it has a high adsorption on dye molecules,which is caused by its unique nano morphology and micro-structure.When control the adding solution of 3.4 ml NaOH,cyclohexane as the filler solution,hydrothermal temperature of 180℃,holding 36 h and using the rapidly cooling style,we can get the CaTi2O4(OH)2 powder samples which showed highest crystallinity,the best morphology of the nano sheets and the best photocatalytic performance,and the degradation rate of 3 h to Luo Danming B was 91.6%.The research results of this project can provide experimental basis for the control preparation of CaTi2O4(OH)2 as well as the photocatalytic activity.
