Arylalkyl sulfonate surfactant,which is a new type of anionic surfactant.Unlike the conventional alkylbenzene sulfonates,arylalkyl sulphonate surfactant allows the functional sulfonate group to be attached to the end of the alkyl chain rather than to the aromatic ring.Due to the change of product special structure,the performance of the product has changed greatly.The synthesis reaction of the conventional sulfonate surfactant need a long time,the microwave radiation technology is widely used in organic synthesis because of its fast heating speed,uniform material heating characteristics.Intermediates 1Alpha olefin sulfonate was synthesized by sulfonation reaction with alpha dodecene as raw material,sulfur trioxide and tributyl phosphate complex as sulfonating agent;nonylphenol react with chloroethyl sodium sulfonate which act as alkylating reagent to synthesize intermediate 2nonyl phenol ethyl sulfonate oxygen by microwave O-alkylation reaction;intermediate 1 and 2 occurred C-alkylation reaction synthesis of novel arylalkyl double sulfonate surfactant(Cn-NADS,n=10,12,14,16).Synthetic products was determined by the condition experiment and the orthogonal experiment the optimum synthetic technology conditions of each step.After purification,the product was characterized by IR,1H NMR and MS.The HLB value surface activity,emulsifying ability foaming and wettability property of the product were evaluated,The experimental results obtained are as follows:Alpha alkenyl sulfonic acid optimum synthesis conditions for: :nclathrate?nAlpha Olefins=2.4:1.0,sulfonation temperature 60?,sulfonation time 70 min,hydrolysis time 30 min,hydrolysis temperature 60?,yield is 90.6%.Nonylphenol oxygen ethyl sulfonic acid sodium intermediates of suitable for the microwave reaction conditions: nnonylphenol?nethyl chloride sodium sulfonate=1.0:1.2,temperature 60?,time 30 min,Solvent for isopropyl alcohol aqueous solution(Visopropanol:Vwater=2:1),microwave power 600 W,yield is 51.4%.Microwave assisted method can greatly improve the C-alkylation reaction rate,in n2-nonylphenol ethyl sulfonic acid sodium: nAOS = 2.1:1.0,the reaction time for 30 min,microwave power 600 w,reaction temperature 110 ?,yield is 95.8%.IR and nuclear magnetic 1H NMR and MS analysis showed that the molecular structure of the synthesized product is consistent with the expected design goal product.The series of products of HLB value were estimatdby methods of group contribution.The results show thatnovel arylalkyl double sulfonate surfactant(Cn-NADS,n=10,12,14,16)HLB values were greater than 13 and had good solubilization and cleaning effect,they had good effect for asp flooding flooding.The series products of CMC by methods of surface tension method.The results show that?maxvalues are lower than alkenyl sulfonate(AOS),Amin values are higher than that of AOS;With the increase of sulfonated alkyl carbon chain length,the critical micelle density decreased,micellar ability increase;?CMC increase with the decrease of the first,and?CMC values are below the AOS;The adsorption efficiency pC20 linear increase.We adopt Water time method time,spectrophotometry,water measuring cylinder method,angle measurement method confirmed that the synthesis of Cn-NADS Compared with traditional surfactant and nonylphenol based alkyl sulfonatehad better properties of emulsion and foam,and wettability.
