Polyoxymethylene(POM)has been widely used in many fields because of its excellent properties such as high wear resistance,corrosion resistance and so on.The shortages of heat resistance and mechanical properties of pure POM limit it in further application.Hence POM composites with long weatherability are prepared and analyzed by the masterbatch method in this work.The resistance to lighting and heat and other mechanical properties of POM were tested through the addition of masterbatch additives.The mechanical properties,crystallization properties,and yellowing index are investigated by the impact testing machine and colorimeter and so on.The anti-aging mechanism of stability POM composites was tested.The results show that:In POM organic light stabilizer system,the mechanical property retention is the highest with the triazine-based ultraviolet absorbers combining with free radical scavengers distribution.The thermal stability and crystallization performance are increased meanwhile the spherulite size and yellowing degree are reduced.The integrated properties retention of POM composites is the best when the content of light screener is 2%.And the mechanical property retention rate is 1~2 times as retention rates as organic system.The light POM composites which were prepared by the masterbatch method,show the highest mechanics performance rate and thermal stability.The impact toughness of composite with physical blending method is 3~6 times,compared that with pure POM;the crystallization capability of composite with chemical synthesis method is the optimal.The overall performance of pure POM after secondary extrusion processing is also improved.POM has the low stability after many repeated processings.The integrated properties retention of the heat-resistant POM composites is the highest when the content of complex antioxidants is 0.3%.The crystallization temperature of heat-resistant POM composites is increased to 5.20? through masterbatch method.Meanwhile,heat-resistant POM composites have the advantages of high mechanical properties retention and little color change as well as conducive to realize the clean environment.
