Studies On The Synthesis,Crystal Structures,and Properties Of 3d And 4f Metal Complexes Base On 3-(pyridin)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1h-1,2,4-triazol | | Posted on:2017-06-15 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Tao | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2381330488473640 | Subject:Inorganic Chemistry | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | During the past decades,much effort has been devoted to the design and synthesis of novel coordination polymers.However,how to achieve the design of synthetic polymers directional regulation remains a huge challenge today.In this paper,we have designed and synthsised three triazolate ligands:3-(pyridin-2-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(2-pmpt);3-(pyridin-3-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(3-pmpt);3-(pyridin-4-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(4-pmpt)-The reactions of the ligands with 3d or 4f metal gave twenty complexes whose structures have been determined and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffractional analysis,element analyses and IR spectra.In addition,magnetic properties of some complexes have been investigated.The main work in the paper includes four chapters:Chapter One:We introduce the concept and development of coordination polymers and discuss the influence of various factors on their architectures.Then we make a review which focuses on the recent progress made on the complexs of triazoles and their derivatives.Chapter Two:Four Co(Ⅱ)complexes based on 3-(pyridin-2-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(2-pmpt),namely CoⅢ(2-pmpt)3(1);[Co2(2-pmpt)2]n(2);{[Co8(2-pmpt)4Cl8(H2O)2]·(C2H5OH)2}n(3);Co2(2-pmpt)2(NO)2(4)。have been synthesized under different conditions.The X-ray Single-crystal results reveal a single-core zero-dimensional structure for Complex(1),a one-dimensional chain structure for Complex(2),one-dimensional chain based on eight-core units by μ2-Cl bridging for Complex(3)and a dual-core and zero-dimensional structure with ligand occuring nitration for Complexes(4).Above all,Complex(3)also exhibits antiferromagnetic behavior.Chapter three:Five six-core Ln(Ⅲ)(Ln=Dy,Gd)complexes based on 3-(pyridin-2-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(2-pmpt),two bi-nucleate clusters and a pair of Mononuclear chiral clusters:namely:[[Dy6(2-pmpt)4(μ3-OH)4(NO3)6(CH3OH)2(H2O)2]·(CH3OH)6(5);[Dy6(2-pmpt)4(HCO2)2OH)4(NO3)4(DMF)4]·(H2O)2(6);[Dy6(2-pmpt)4(H2-pmpt)2(μ3-OH)4(NO3)4(OH)2]·[Dy6(2-pmpt)4(H2-Pmpt)2(μ3-OH)4(NO3)2(OH)2]·(NO3)2(C2H3N)2(7);[Ga6(2-pMpt)4(μ3-OH)4(NO3)6(H20)2]·(C2H5OH)4(H2O)2(8);[Gd6(2-pmpt)4(μ3-OH)4(NO3)4(OH)2(H2O)4]·(H2O)6(9);[Dy2(2-pmpt)2(NO3)4](CH3OH)2(10);[Dy2(2-pmpt’)2(CH3CO2)2(NO3)2](C2H3N)2(9);(11);[Dy(2-pmpt’)(3-pmpt’)(NO3)(H2O)](C2H3N)(R/S)(12)/(13)。have been synthesized under different conditions.The X-ray Single-crystal results reveal that Complex(5)-(9)have the same six-core skeleton by μ3-OH bridged and that Complex(5)and(8)are isomorphism.We also studied their magnetic properties and found six nuclear Dy cluster has obvious single molecule magnet behavior.Chapter Four:Four complexes based on 3-(pyridin-3-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(3-pmpt)and three complexes based on 3-(pyridin-4-yl)-5-(2-methoxyphenol-6yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol(4-pmpt)have been synthesized,respectively,which are shown as follow:{[Co3(3-pmpt)2Cl2(DMF)2]·DMF)2}n(14);[Co3(3-pmpt)2Cl2(DMF)2]n(15);{[Co5(3-pmpt)4(HC02)2(DMF)2]·(H2O)4}n(16);{[Ni5(3-pmpt)4(HC02)2(DMF)2]·(H20)4}n(17);{[Co3(4-pmpt)2Cl2(DMF)2]·(DMF)}n(18);[Co3(4-pmpt)2Cl2(DMF)2]n(19);{[Co5(4-pmpt)4(HCO2)2(H20)2]·(H2O)8}n(20)Wherein(14)and(15),(18)and(19)are two pairs of polymorphisms.(16)and(17)are a pair of isomorphism.(16)and(20)have the same space group and even similar spiral.Complex(16)and(20)exhibit antiferromagnetic behavior. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | coordination polymers, rare cluster, magnetic properties, polymorphism | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
