The Research Of Synthesis And Application Of Organic Silicon-polyurethane Copolymer

In this experiment,it selected IPDI,polyethylene glycol 2000,diethanolamine,epoxy capping agent[1,3-glycidoxypropyl(1,1,3,3-tetramethyl)cyclotetrasiloxane],D4,and di-n-butylamine,as the main starting material,and depended on polyurethane reaction mechanism,synthesis mechanism,silicone and polyurethane reaction mechanism hydroxy silicone softener as the main theory.Firstly,the issue aims to synthesizing terminal hydroxyl silicone oil;secondly,synthesizing polyurethane prepolymer;thirdly,using synthesizing polyurethane prepolymer modified terminal hydroxyl silicone oil getting silicone-polyurethane polyol copolymer.By studying the reactant ratio,reaction time and temperature impact on the performance of product,the best synthesis process as following:Ⅰ.Synthesis of polyurethane prepolymer: R=1.8:1,the initial prepolymer temperature 70℃,initial pre-polymerization time 2h,R’= 5:1,diethanolamine is chain extender,chain extension of temperature and time about(70±1)℃*1h;Ⅱ.Synthesis of terminal hydroxyl silicone softener:n(di-n-butylamine): n(epoxy head agent)= 1:1,at 85 ℃ reacting 4h obtaining modified capping agent,followed by addition of D4 into the reacting system,at 120℃ reacting 120 min,to obtain terminal hydroxyl silicone softener;Ⅲ.silicone – polyurethane polyol copolymer: The polyurethane prepolymer is(molar ratio of 1:1)slowly added into terminal hydroxyl silicone softener reacting 4h at 65℃.Using the modern analytical instrument detected the structure and properties of the production,such as: using infrared sepectroscopy tested the chemical bond of products;using Thermal gravimetric tested the heating resistance and thermal decompositian of products;using SEM tested the covering status about products in the fabric surface.Then using the product finished cotton fabrics,and according to diversifications of the performance of the fabric,getting the best finishing process:finishing dosage80g/l,the rate of rolling 85%,precuring 80℃*3min,curing 120℃*2min.The homemade silicone-polyurethane finishing agent contrast with a commercially available softener,homemade silicone softener can not only greatly enhance the softness of the fabric,but has emulsifying properties which is a green product,what’s more,it has the performance of anti-pilling balloon,so the finishing agent has a broad market prospect.9 Pictures,24 tables and 111 references...
