As we all know,the performance of any newly developed product needs to be tested.This will only show whether the product has a good stability,and can be produced in large quantities into the market.Therefore,the innovation of experimental model of injection molding machine is not only to achieve these requirements,but also to save power,improve the accuracy of test results and the efficiency of a scientific research.Recently,a novel injection molding machine for experiments has appeared on the market.Therefore,in this paper,the newly developed experimental injection molding machine's performance was tested and researched into,by processing typical materials and testing of the performance of these processed materials.Based on the shortcomings discovered,some improved schematic and scientific suggestions have been put forward.This paper consists mainly of three parts.Firstly,polypropylene(PP)was used on a new M series experimental injection molding machine by processing it repeatedly for 1100 times fatigue tests to study its stability.The novel injection molding machine after 1100 times fatigue tests was still able to run normally,which shows its good stability,but to some of its deficiencies,we have also provided some suggestions.Secondly,the optimum processing conditions of injecting polypropylene(PP)with the novel experimental injection molding machine,which could serve as reference to future workers were explored.Lastly,the injection molding processing of polylactic acid(PLA),polyethylene(PE)and polyamide materials,their performance,and their best injection molding processing conditions with this novel type of experimental injection molding machine were also studied.From the surface evenness and mechanical properties of the injecting spline,it was found that using this novel experimental injection molding machine to process these several typical materials,did not only produce spline,but also had good effects.In this paper,after testing the machine's performance,the deficiencies of the M series injection molding machine have been discovered.These deficiencies were such that(1)during opening of the mold,the top pillar of the ejector was broken after beating,(2)the mold cone did not match with the groove perfectly in the process of injection molding,(3)the screw fixing the heater to the porcelain was loose,(4)the plunger made of iron is easy to rust and(5)the performance of the product could be affected by the temperature of the mold.Based on these findings,it is advised that the shortcomings could be improved upon by;welding the broken top pillar of the ejector,using sandpaper to make mold cone match with die groove,fixing the heater connected to porcelain with two screws,replacing plunger material with stainless steel and designing a device to control the temperature of the mold.
