Phase change energy storage technology refers to the technology that uses the ability of heat accumulation of phase change material(PCM)to store energy.The combination of phase change energy storage technology and building envelope can increase the thermal inertia of the building envelope,thus reduce the fluctuation of indoor thermal environment to achieve energy conservation.Thispaper starts from the configuration of composite phase change material partical(CPCMP).A new type of phase change energy storage plate(PCESP)was developed;natural cold storage experiment on building enclosure and experimental study of solar heat storagecombined with solar system were conducted to test the effect of thermal storage and calculate its quantity.First of all,using 25# cryogenic paraffin as the phase change material,expanded perlite as support material.Paraffin / expanded perlite composite phase particles were obtained through vacuum adsorption method.Diffused-exudative circle method on leakage test,scanning electron microscope(SEM)test,differential scanning calorimeter(DSC)test as well as Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)test was conducted.After the surface film coating process,CPCMP is prepared.PCESP is made by mould pressing method.Thermal response tests under steady and unsteady conditions reveal that heat storage and delay are obvious with the PCESP and the thermal inertia is stronger.Secondly,three experimental rooms were set up for cool storagestudies of the PCESPs.The PCESPs were combined with the internal(PCESP-I)and external(PCESP-O)wall surface,respectively,then a reference room was also set.Four kinds of control strategies were adopted based on the natural ventilation of low temperature air in summer night to achieve cold accumulation.Comparisons and analyses are made on the experimental effect and its influence on the reference room.Results show that when the PCESP is applied in the internal surface,the attenuation and delay of indoor temperature are more significant.What’s more,based on the cool storage test,PCESPs were combined with the internal surface of the experimental room,at the same time used the phase change heat storage tank to store heat from the solar collecting system.Tests and analyses on the heat release effect of PCESP as well as temperature changes in experimental rooms were also carried out.Meanwhile,calculation and verification of the heat storage quantity were made by using dynamic and static methods,which proves the accuracy of the test data and the rationality of the testsystem.The test results show that in the cool storage experiment,the average peak temperature moment in PCESP-I and PCESP-O delayed 29.67 min and 87.33 min,respectively,when they compared with the reference room;at the same time,the average peak temperature values were decreased by 3.29℃ and 6.84℃,respectively.In the heat storage experiment,the phase change room compared with reference room,indoor peaktemperature delayed 133.6min and the mean indoor temperature increased by 4.97℃,which proves that PCESP play a positive role in regulating indoor temperature.
