Erosion is the main cause of failure of petrochemical pressure pipeline.The erosion in the pipeline occurs mainly in the location of special pipe fittings such as tees,blind tee,reducers,and elbows.The fluid in the petrochemical pipeline is often a two-phase flow and a multiphase flow,which is more difficult to study due to the complexity of the erosion process.In this paper,a set of tube flow erosion experiment device was designed and constructed,and the average erosion rate of the three-way pipe under the erosion of water and sand mixture was obtained.At the same time,CFD simulation was carried out on the same pipe of the same system.The simulation results are compared with the experimental results,and the appropriate numerical calculation model is determined.Secondly,the simulation study was carried out on the erosion and wear of special pipe such as tee,blind tee and reducer in liquid-solid two-phase flow.The erosion location of different pipe fittings was analyzed,and the influence of flow rate,particle mass fraction and flow direction on erosion was also investigated.The results show that the erosion rate increases with the increase of the flow rate and the particle content.The vertical erosion of the three-way pipe erosion wears area and the maximum erosion rate than the horizontal flow of the tee.When the L / D of the blind tee is 1,the erosion wear area is the smallest and the erosion rate is small,which can effectively reduce the risk of erosion and wear.With the increase of the variable angle,the erosion rate of the reducer increases first and then decreases.Finally,the erosion of the export section of the coke tower composed of tee,blind tee,elbow and other fittings by Beihai Refining & Chemical is predicted.The prediction results are in good agreement with the results provided by the site.By analyzing the prediction results of the actual pipeline erosion,four suggestions are proposed,which can guide the thickness detection of the actual pipeline and save the detection cost of the pipeline system.
